We love nothing better than a smiley happy couple and today’s real wedding has love and joy all round.
In fact WWW readers Amy and Lee described their day to me as “stunning, surreal and perfect in every way“. If memories of your wedding are that good you know it was a roaring success for sure. Our pair were married on the 29th July 2017 at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. The venue was hands down their fave in their search and I can see why. The scenic location and blank canvas was perfect for their modern day, with paired back white wedding flowers and greenery in abundance. I love the ceiling drapes and fairy lights, which come evening look especially magical for their first dance together. Oh so elegant.
Amy’s gown was a real belter. I mean just look at the exquisite lace, off shoulder sleeves and pretty train. It was designed by Watters and she found her dress in the Agape Bridal Boutique. Her bounteous bouquet was filled with foliage, white flowers and wrapped stylishly in ribbon. What a beautiful arrangement. Then there was Lee’s navy suit, grey waistcoat and tan brogues combo, which looked smart and classic in equal measure. On hand to capture all of the festivities was Hayley Baxter Photography. We really love these emotive and natural shots. Thanks for sharing them with us Hayley.

THE PROPOSAL | 01/08/15 in Cornwall, overlooking the estuary on a romantic picnic. Lee had careful concealed the engagement ring within a kinder egg and replaced all of the packaging in an undetectable way. Amy opened the Kinder Egg to reveal her surprise!
THE VISION | To create a modern wedding where old traditions were thrown out of the window to ensure a memorable day in the most relaxed way, filled with fun and laughter.
THE PLANNING PROCESS | Lots of venues’ web pages were printed off. We each went through them individually and decided on our top 3. Styal Lodge was top of both of our lists and became a very easy but perfect decision. Pinterest, blogs and magazine cuttings made up our wedding planning canvas.
THE VENUE | Styal Lodge were incredibly organised throughout, looking after us really well. They were so calm and relaxed, exactly what we wanted of our day.
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Agape Bridal Boutique, Altrincham. Dress designed by Watters.
FINDING THE DRESS | Amy and her mum enjoyed a couple of days of trying on dresses at boutiques in Altrincham and Knutsford.
GROOM’S ATTIRE | 3 piece suits. Navy trousers and jacket with a grey tweed waistcoat. Light brown brogues.
THE READINGS & MUSIC | Amy’s bridal entrance song was an instrumental version of Christina Perri – A Thousand Years.
Lee’s brother, Stephen, read the first reading entitled ‘On Your Wedding Day’ and a poem ‘Love Is’ was read by a good friend, Tom.
BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | Jenny and Jasse wearing grey multi-way dresses from Debenhams.
THE FLOWERS | Jill Naughton Flowers
THE CAKE | Pink Pepper Catering
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Hayley Baxter, our photographer, was fantastic. She made us feel so relaxed and took lots of natural photos, capturing people’s emotions and expressions perfectly.
THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | Emma Casson – Special Days Events
THE HONEYMOON | Cape Verde. Nothing but utter relaxation with an ocean front suite, watching the sun set from the Jacuzzi with champagne.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | Too many to list them all! The Hen and Stag dos were fabulous, friends and family supported us all the way through our engagement and we were so honoured to have them all there on our special day.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Savour every moment. Our wedding day was the most amazing day of our lives but it went by so quickly.
