Dark Pink Wedding Ideas in the Woodland

These dark pink wedding ideas are just so very beautiful you guys! Dark and dramatic with the rich burgundy hues, yet beautifully lightened by blush tones and the backdrop of the woodland setting. I am over the moon to be showcasing three of our Supplier Love members today, the shoot was held at Browning Bros’ Teybrook Orchard, the transport was provided by the awesome V Dub Rides and the stunning gowns are by Lisa Lyons Bridal. What a treat.

A humanist ceremony in the woodland is framed by an opulent flower arch, followed by a very special reception at a table beautifully styled with florals, stationery, hanging lampshades and candles. Also keep your eyes peeled for a camper van, a silver birch cake, macramé touches, a sweet pup and gorgeous accessories. All captured wonderfully by Caroline Opacic Photography, oh my.

I adore elopements in the redwoods of California, or the national parks of the USA, and was inspired to create an elopement shoot celebrating the great British outdoors.

Today we go into the woods for this charming elopement shoot at Browning Bros wedding and glamping venue in Essex. This shoot features an intimate elopement ceremony in a woodland clearing, a blush and rose al fresco dining table, hanging cake and a VW Campervan setup with a rustic tipi and vintage bar. Oh, and not forgetting a furry friend!

With larger weddings unable to happen, I wanted to raise awareness of elopement options in the UK, and how you can really make them your own for a truly special day. From glamping in a grain silo the night before the wedding, the woodland ceremony, outdoor dining and a stay in a VW Campervan, this shoot shows how you can plan your whole day.

Browning Bros is a beautiful outdoor wedding and glamping venue in Essex. Set over two separate venues, this shoot took place in the Tey Brook Orchard. The orchard was the ideal place for a woodland ceremony and looked adorable with the draped wooden backdrop, dappled sunlight through the trees and candlelit floor.

We wanted this shoot to have a rustic feel and keep it simple to show you don’t need lots of furniture and extravagant details to create a gorgeous, cosy elopement. Rock The Day Styling created a beautiful draped ceremony backdrop with a deep burgundy fabric, to really pop against the trees. The dining area was stunning, a simple setup for two, with blush, rose and burgundy bringing everything together. They even created a stunning set of macramé chandeliers to dramatically hang from the trees. The rustic look was achieved with upcycled and handmade wooden furniture.

As a final setup for an elopement evening we created a decorative tipi and camper van snug area. The perfect spot for sipping on some wine from the vintage bar, and watching the stars come out.

Lisa Lyons Bridal provided two delicate separates for our bohemian bridal look. For a personalised and laid back look, we paired it with a hand printed leather jacket and customised Converse – perfect for trekking through the woods or walking through the fields to the Camper. For when the sun goes down, a blush rose shawl would keep our bride cosy and cute.

One of my favourite elements of this shoot were the wooden rings by Eco Wood Rings. They fitted in so well with the theme and were absolutely beautifully crafted. Knots & Kisses created a show-stopping stationery set with tribal blush patterns and painted woodland illustrations, including a keepsake map. The cake was a masterpiece by Botanico Cakes, mimicking a real silver birch tree with sugar flowers.
