Welcome to the Domaine du Beyssac wedding in the South of France of WWW readers Hally and Jack. Their day was ever so beautiful, with laid back vibes and a lot of fun for their lucky group of loved ones. They hoped that their weekend would feel like a private holiday with friends, which is how it all turned out.
They were married in the sunshine in front of the abbey and partied away until 3am in the rustic barn. The barn by the way looked incredible with statement flowers (I see you pampas grass!), magical lighting and stylish signage.
Then there were the outfits! Hally looked amazing in her two dresses, floral veil and glitzy shoes, while Jack opted for a blue suit and red tie, very dapper indeed.
Awardweddings thank you so much for sharing these totally mesmerising images of this very special celebration.

We got engaged in Cannes, South of France. We booked into the Hotel Barrière Le Majestic a really special hotel for our 10-year anniversary and Jack surprised me in the morning of our anniversary with a gorgeous ring, we spent the whole day in the sunshine drinking champagne at a beach bar and facetiming our family. It was the most incredible day!

We wanted a beautiful laid back boho autumnal wedding with gorgeous French wine and sunshine.
We hired a wedding planner Clémentine to help us organise some of the aspects, catering and styling and she totally got my vision and what we wanted. I couldn’t have done it without her!

We got married at Domaine du Beyssac, an impressive old abbey in the South of France. We loved the venue as it was totally private and we had the whole place to ourselves, the vibe was exactly what we wanted, we wanted the guests to feel like they were on holiday with their best friends. Michele at the Domaine was the most incredible host and helped make the whole weekend run perfectly.

My wedding dress was by Madi Lane from Angelica Bridal in London and my evening dress was by Rime Arodaky a Parisian designer. I absolutely loved both dresses especially my evening dress as it meant I could dance the night away! It also meant I could show off my shoes in the evening and they stole the show!
I got more compliments on my shoes than the dress! Jacks suit was from Suit Supply the branch in Paris were amazing and supported him every step of the way, his shoes were from Crockett and Jones in London.

We were lucky enough with the weather to have the ceremony outside on benches facing the Abbey, Kevin Baker was our celebrant and completed the most lovely, personal service for us.
We then had the incredibly talented Emilie Israel (who is currently a lead in Hamilton on the West End, our favourite musical!) perform Everlasting Love when the ceremony was over. She then sang an acoustic version of Ain’t Nobody (our song) as our first dance and it was a moment we will never forget, her voice blew everyone away!
We used James Carr as our DJ a British DJ based in South of France, he was incredible and kept the party going until 3am!!

Mark from Awardweddings was our photographer. Mark actually showed us around the venue when we visited for the first time and we just knew he would be perfect to photograph our wedding! He actually got married there and has worked many times so knows the venue very well. We are totally in love with the pictures!
We also hired two small video cameras and asked our guests to have fun filming our wedding video and that they did! The footage is the best, it’s so funny and raw and feels just like a home video which fit in with our laid back vibe.

With the support from Clémentine at Awardweddings, we organised a beautiful autumnal wedding décor. Colours were cream, pale orange, green and touches of dark red. We also mixed in copper and wood in the decorations and furniture.
I wanted a statement arrangement of flowers in the wedding hall and Lily pulled that off incredibly, all the flowers were the exact boho feel I wanted. I especially loved all the pampas grass!

We escaped back down to Cannes the day after the brunch, we actually checked into the same hotel we got engaged in! So it was lovely being back two years later as Husband and Wife. Jack really took charge of this trip as I was so busy with the wedding, he booked incredible restaurants, day trips and made the trip truly unforgettable, we really were in a newlywed love bubble.
We did plan a bigger trip for our honeymoon to Japan but because of Covid we decided to go somewhere closer to home but this is somewhere we would love to visit when we can as a kind of honeymoon part 2!
The memorable moment for us was having our friends and family there and having the wedding we had always wanted. We were so lucky that we didn’t have to move our wedding because of Covid and we had no restrictions on our day. We have watched dear friends struggle with this so we really appreciated that our loved ones made the effort and could make it out to France and share this day with us.
Also the most happy memory for me and Jack was looking around the room and seeing friends and family who hadn’t met before dancing and chatting and having the best time together, we had a small group at the wedding and I was blown away by how well everyone got on! It was so heart-warming to see!
I remember reading advice on the lead up and trying to remember that the small things do not count on the day etc but it really is true!! I wasn’t stressing about the small things on the day at all.
At the dinner I walked round and spoke to a few people but I really wish I had made an effort to get round and speak to everyone as once the party started I spent most of the time on the dancefloor! If you can get round and speak to everyone at the dinner then the pressure is off and you will wake up knowing you checked in with everyone!

Just so special.
Hally and Jack thank you ever so much for sharing your stunning Domaine du Beyssac wedding story, it’s been such an honour!
