I am feeling perfectly Spring like and happy thanks to these darling fine art film images this morning. Dreamy, ethereal and gorgeously bohemian weddings ideas, all brought together by an uber talented team of wedding suppliers. The soft colour palette of silver, blush and greenery really sets the tone for the romantic details and styling. From a marble effect cake draped in florals to the modern perspex stationery and pretty bridal looks, it all worked so wonderfully.
Keep an eye out for the magnificent flower arch, the hot air balloon (yes really!) and the rustic furniture table set up. Pure heaven.
Huge thanks to Liz Baker Photography for sharing these sublime shots with us. Beth Ralph for Apple & Bramble Events tells us more;
“Ethereal. Sumptuous. contemporary.
These were the words that I had in mind whilst styling this shoot. Dillington House emits such an elegant atmosphere and I wanted to capture this in the styled shoot. The palette focused on pewters, blush, peach, soft lilacs, flicks of silver and lots of greenery. Foliage and greenery was such an important part of the shoot. It not only created striking forms and coverage, but tied all the elements together. The orangery has such soft light flowing through the glass that it created faint shadows on the flagstone floor and blanched hamstone walls. This was the perfect lighting for the shoot, complementing the colour palette and the supplier’s work. I wanted the furniture in the shoot to look as though it had been abandoned and that the plants had embraced the furniture as its own. The Perspex stationery and flicks of silver flowed through the shoot, creating a subtle contemporary feel.
I included some unique fun elements to the shoot. Using a vintage hot air balloon basket and disco ball. These touches weren’t out of place in such an ethereal setting. Instead it created new depths to the shoot and allowed for the supplier’s unique style to shine through. As the day progressed the natural light changed the feel and atmosphere of the shoot. By mid-afternoon the rain set in and created a muted grey backdrop for the table set up. I wanted to create a wild, bohemian table, with sumptuous fruits and flowers entwined around the gorgeous hand dyed table runner. The shoot although set up, was very organic, I wanted the wind flowing through the orangery to move the plants and the items to a natural resting place. The divine dresses allowed for beautiful movement and soft forms. The flickering of the candlelight and reflections of the sky in the glass panels of the space created a harmonious vibe very much reflected in the final images.”

From florist Jacalyn: “Floral styling was guided by Liz and Beth’s soft colour palette of blush, blue grey and silver. Initially copper but silver was confirmed as the final decision for a more harmonious effect. With this years Pantone colour and a big trend for 2017- green – I wanted to explore and portray the beauty that carefully selected foliages can achieve. We are in love with our free standing structure full and blousy with rambling English foliages. Bringing the outside in can add such warmth to a room and an Instant WOW factor to a bare space. Our pewter candelabras with rose gold candles were nestled in at the base of the design for drama! Flowers were selected in season and in subtle shades of pinks, cream and apricots such as Parrot Tulips, Syringa, Magnolia and Dianthus – such an underrated flower these days – lets bring them back! To compliment our stunning Sassi Holford gowns we designed our special composite bouquet using blush Roses, Jasmine and hand dyed ribbons. A bespoke design for a unique bride.”
