Confetti love. Squeal, isn’t that just the happiest photograph ever?
Beth and Matt’s wedding was an utter delight from beginning to end. They chose to hold their nuptials on Saturday 20th June 2015 at Grange Farm in Cambridgeshire following a church ceremony. Top of their priorities was that as many of their nearest and dearest could be with them to celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere.
DIY galore was the plan and it was a huge success. The flower arrangements in the marquee were arranged by Beth and helpers, the cake was baked by a friend and the stationery and décor was hand crafted too. The colour popping fuchsia pink and navy blue colour scheme was really fun, it worked just perfectly.
The theme carried on into the attire with the boys in navy suits and pink ties and the bridesmaids wore navy frocks with contrasting bouquets. Beth chose a Grecian feel dress with veil and country boho flower crown. Gorgeous.
Many thanks today goes to Natalie J Weddings for sharing these glorious photographs.

THE PROPOSAL | On holiday in Croatia during a trek in one of the amazing national parks, Matt produced a ring whilst we sat on stones crossing the river.
THE VISION | Relaxed and chilled wedding for as many friends and family as possible to come and enjoy and have a great time.
THE PLANNING PROCESS | After booking the venue on a farm near my parents home and church planning went into full swing. I did all the planning myself with some creative help from friends and parents. Choosing a colour theme was a big part of the plan with my favourite hot pink complimented with navy blue, all the rest of the planning centred from this!
BUDGET | £18,000
THE VENUE | Grange Farm near Wansford Peterborough, in their permanent marquee.
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Dress was Hadie by Annaluchy. Pink shoes from Marks and Spencers (same as the bridesmaids). Bracelet borrowed from my maid of honour.
FINDING THE DRESS | My bridesmaids dragged me into a shop to start hunting 6 months before the wedding. I hadn’t realised it was something that needed to be organised so early! The dress was one of the first ones I tried and just as I imagined. After trying more on with my mum I came back to this one. I think of it as a Greek goddess dress!
GROOM’S ATTIRE | Blue tailored suit and pink ties matching to the groomsmen.
THE READINGS & MUSIC | We had a quote from Mother Theresea read by my four bridesmaids and a bible reading read by my mum.
I walked into church Pachelbel’s Canon, we had 3 hymns including Lord of the Dance, One More Step and Thine be the Glory and we walked out to Jeremiah Clarke trumpet voluntary.
We had a home made sound track at the reception and an amazing band The Mighty Persuaders. There was a lot of dancing way into the night….
BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | My maid of honour was my best friend from school, Sarah and I had three more bridesmaids all girls I have played hockey with Claire, Tamara and Anna. They all chose their own dresses to suit them, the only brief was to stick to navy blue!
THE FLOWERS | The flowers were sourced by Jayne from The English Flower Company she made the amazing bouquets and flower head band. My mum, auntie, bridesmaids and myself did all the flowers at the church and in the marquee. They were a big part of the decoration to create the country look.
THE CAKE | My friend Samantha made our cake for us and even decorated it in the style of the wedding, it was a beautiful layered sponge of vanilla, lemon and chocolate.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Natalie J was our ace photographer, she was very relaxed, went with the flow and we have the most amazing images to remember our day.
THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | The whole theme was very home made and DIY from the invites to the decorations. I did a lot of resourcing and making myself with some great help from friends ‘the craft club!’. Everything was done in a hot pink and navy theme (my colour OCD).
THE HONEYMOON | Mini moon in a beautiful cottage in the peak district, spending days chilling and walking with the dog obviously!
Plans in March to travel around Chile and Peru, back packing adventure holidays.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | Laughing during the vows – we are just never that serious.
The speeches from Matt (Groom), Mark (best man) and David (father of the bride) – very funny.
Drinking games instigated by the best man and groomsman.
Dancing the night away with some crazy dancers.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | As everyone will say, it goes so quick, enjoy every moment. The build-up is just as good so take the time to plan and organise, make sure it is exactly how you want. We mixed groups of friends up at the tables and it worked brilliantly.
