WWW readers Charlotte and Mark are joining us with their Hertfordshire farm wedding held at Brook Farm Cuffley with WWW wedding supplier faves Tipis4hire providing the magical tipis. Yay!
Their day was utterly beautiful, with boho styling, pretty flowers and the most gorgeous tonal bridesmaid dresses in rust, peach and champagne tones. The stylish attire doesn’t stop there though as Charlotte and Mark both looked so amazing in their chosen outfits.
You are going to adore the statement semi-naked cake, elegant stationery and lakeside setting. So magical.
Big thanks to Jonny Gouldstone Photography for sending over these epic images for us to enjoy.

WWW had already featured our wedding venue before so it was a real help for inspiration and picturing what we wanted for our day!

Mark proposed whilst we were on a trip to the Cairngorms in Scotland. He had planned a weekend away staying in a cute little pod. We had gone for a walk and were at a viewpoint overlooking an amazing landscape when I turned around and he was on one knee.

Mark and I wanted our day to be fun, relaxed and special. We felt this reflected us as a couple. We also wanted to be generous to our friends and worked hard to make it happen.

Brook Farm Cuffley – What a venue. I found it online before we had got engaged and knew it was special. After the proposal, I looked at all the venues around the area but there was no comparison. The lake, island, festoon lights, I could go on.
We had so many comments on the day on how special the venue was and it was the perfect fit for us.

We held our ceremony at our home church Soul Survivor Watford which has a special place in our hearts. Our friends put together a band for our ceremony and sang some stunning and meaningful songs.
We had our friend’s brother, Dan who DJ’d, sort out the party tunes and they did not disappoint!

Charlotte – The dress I wore was Stevie by Made with Love. I had seen it on social media and instantly loved it. The closest bridal shop which stocked it was the amazing Coco + Kate but it was a 1 and a half hours drive. It was a slightly older design at the time but I knew I had to try it on. It was well worth the drive there, all the dresses I tried on were stunning but there was just something about the Stevie dress that made it feel like mine.
Mark – My suit jacket was from Moss Bros, it was a light blue herringbone/tweed style. Charlotte and I loved the jacket but weren’t so keen on having a 3 piece suit of the same material. We had considered not having a waistcoat but I managed to find a grey herringbone waistcoat which went perfectly with the jacket and completed the look.
I also wanted a pocket watch which ended up being the perfect gift for my groomsmen too.

Our photographer was Jonny Gouldstone Photography. He is an incredible photographer and a genuinely great guy! Working with him was so easy and the final photos speak for themselves. I haven’t been able to stop looking at the album since we got it!

We tried to do as much of the styling and decorations ourselves as it is a great money saver but also quite fun to do. Working two full time, busy jobs, this wasn’t always possible but that is where Etsy saved the day!

Due to the uncertainty of holidays abroad, we went for a UK honeymoon in Devon for 2 weeks. We’ve booked our big abroad honeymoon to Mauritius for this summer coming, we can’t wait!

One of the most memorable moments was probably when I walked down the aisle. Mark had previously told me there was no way he would cry as he ‘had never cried out of happiness before’. As I stepped out I saw he was in a bundle of tears, at which point I joined him and we were both an emotional wreck.
It felt like such a special moment and like it was just us two in the room.

Enjoy this time as an engaged couple, you have the rest of your lives being married. The time you have being engaged is so special and only for a very limited time so be present and soak it in.
Decide what your priorities are as a couple for your wedding day and run with it.

Well wasn’t that just so very special?
Charlotte and Mark I can’t thank you enough for sharing your Hertfordshire farm wedding with us.
