Intimate Italian Rose Garden Wedding

It’s time for a little day dreaming in beautiful Italy today with Amber and Massi’s wedding.

They had 5 different parties to celebrate their marriage and this was wedding party number 3, held in Torino on the 30th May 2015. The rose garden setting was just idyllic and you can feel the love and happiness radiating in these images.

There was a fresh and bright feel to the styling with classic attire, fresh white blooms and a sweetie bar. Scrummy.

FROM THE COUPLE | Our wedding in Torino, Italy was #3 of our 4 weddings and an anniversary party circuit.  That’s right—with our friends and family scattered all over the world, we had 5 parties to celebrate our marriage with guests from almost every continent.  There were two official ceremonies in Austin, Texas and Paris, France; a party in Torino, Italy; another party in Amman, Jordan, and then finally an anniversary party in Austin, Texas – exactly one year after our first ceremony.

Each party had its own charm, and they were all equally special to us, but the one in Torino was by far the most beautiful. We first saw the venue the winter before our spring party.  Even then, before the spring flowers had bloomed in the many, tiered gardens on the property, we knew it was the perfect location.  It’s a gorgeous, rustic villa in the hills outside of Torino in the town of Sciolze, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, several surreal gardens, a lovely pool, and a dynamic space that allowed us to move from one part of the villa to another for the various festivities throughout the day/night.  By the time of our party in May, the scenery within and surrounding the villa was exactly how we imagined.

In this perfect, idyllic setting, we were joined by our closest friends and family members, who came from all over the world.  Despite all the different backgrounds of our guests, our favourite part of the party was how all of the guests connected as if they’d known each other as long as we had known them all.  Our wedding planners, Francesca and Delfina, put together a fabulous schedule of events, including arrival drinks, a ceremony (where we lip-synced our vows to some of our favourite songs), a cocktail reception, dinner, cake ceremony, and then dancing until the early hours of the morning—at which point the giant dog (Ful) that lives in the villa adorably ushered our guests out for the night.  The entire day, undoubtedly one of the best of our lives, was captured exquisitely by Letizia and Viola, our wedding photographers, and set to music incredibly DJ’ed by Leo. Even now, remembering the day makes us smile, and the friends and family who joined us are still raving about the whole event.
