I really can’t imagine a more dreamy set of images than the ones sent to me today by Imogen Eve Photography. Think of the most boho beautiful intimate wedding, then times it by ten. Just because a wedding is smaller, it doesn’t mean it can’t be super special. In fact I think small, intimate weddings create a really special atmosphere.
If you are looking for intimate wedding ideas, then you certainly have found yourself in the right place. Think macramé wedding décor, pampas grass, dried flowers and seriously special styling. In fact there are so many incredible details that I can’t be certain to cover them all here in the intro. So I will let you discover all the fashionable attire, bridal beauty and special touches for yourself.

This gorgeous shoot stemmed from ideas around showing how an intimate weddings can be beautiful, personal and fun in-keeping with the times. Reduced numbers means having just the really important people around you and can make way for some more of the unique details to be included, such as the amazing horse box bar and macramé swing featured in this shoot.
Chapel Barn in Sussex is a super rustic and family run venue, with the main barn structure made with lots of reclaimed wood and barrels and a beautiful outdoor space. We showcased both ceremony options with gorgeous mustard chairs and twinkly lights for the indoor ceremony and a floral alter for the outdoor ceremony. Thankfully it was a beautiful sunny September day for us to also host an outdoor reception area with trestle tables decorated with collected DIY jars full of dried flowers, eucalyptus and pampas grass sprays, brought together by the amazing macramé backdrop for the sweetheart table. The bride and groom also had the cutest bell tent on-site to spend the evening of the wedding.
The boho feel was carried across perfectly to the bride’s styling with gorgeous autumnal orange tones in the make up and a beautifully relaxed up-do with scattered flowers. She wore a Stella York gown from Victoria’s Bridal Boutique and the groom, a gorgeous navy suit. The whole day was focused around keeping it intimate and achievable on a lower budget. We hope to show couples how you can really make your own stamp on a venue to create a very personal and most importantly, a very fun day.
