Chelsea and Ben’s gorgeous Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center wedding in Texas may just be one of the prettiest days ever!
Not only were there the most gorgeous pink and red flowers in meadow style, but their outfits were so stylish. The outdoor garden ceremony drenched in sunlight too was ever so beautiful. Plus they had a nod to Ben’s Dutch heritage with the stunning delft blue patterns used in their decor.
What an utter dream! Thanks so much to Two Pair Photography and Ashley Nicole Affair for sharing with us these totally mesmerising images.

Ben was born in New Zealand and I was born in Alaska so it felt like a funny fate when we met in high school on a small island in Washington.
We had our first kiss on the top deck of the ferry boat crossing the Puget Sound and 14 years later, we had our favorite kiss at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, TX.

The feeling we were going for was modern meadow with some hits of Dutch throughout.
Since our wedding took place later in the day, we wanted it to feel like a magical and easy-going dinner party under the stars with all of our family and friends.

During the planning and brainstorming process, both Pinterest, my planners and my family were the BFFS I needed to bounce ideas off of.
And looking back on our wedding day it was everything we ever wanted. It reflected us both in a way that will forever give me butterflies.

Florals were very important to me and I wanted them to feel very unique and whimsical.
So we accomplished this by working with a wonderful florist who really highlights local florals while incorporating color in a way that felt like art.

I spent a lot of time dreaming up ways we can incorporate Ben’s Dutch heritage into the tablescape as well as the wedding. And we did so by highlighting blue and white plates throughout the tables.
As well as ginger jars sprinkled throughout the venue.

What drew Chelsea and Ben to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center was the natural beauty that surrounded it and that their guests could explore the beauty throughout the property.

They were VERY specific for the overall vision and design. Especially when it came to florals because they wanted to tie in the beauty of the venue, but more than anything they wanted to bring in his Dutch heritage.

You will notice the ‘Dutch touches,’ known as Delft Blue patterns in the vintage plates they had sourced, among other beautiful items!
Their tree of life guest book was one of the most unique ideas we have seen at a wedding we have designed.

Wow, what a special celebration indeed!
Chelsea and Ben, thanks ever so much for sharing with us your amazing Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center wedding story.
