After Rachel posted her fave real weddings featured on WWW this past year yesterday, today it’s my turn! It’s an almost impossible task to choose just 10 of my very favourite real weddings I’ve written and featured on the blog in 2019, so I turned my focus to our WWW reader real weddings and whittled them down that way. After all every single wedding we feature we utterly love, but all of the weddings I’ve chosen have a special place in my heart for many a reason. Without further ado, here are 10 weddings that stole my heart this year.

Katie and Mex’s wedding was a woodland wedding of dreams, with opulent florals and so much style. The whole day looked so magical.

It was a kitsch, multicolour, vintage, fiesta wedding style for Emma and Conor. Their attire was super cool; think original vintage 1940s dress and green tweed suits with hot pink bow ties. Wow.

Hannah and Ben had a rainbow wedding and as a colour lover, their day had me from the get go. Not to mention the enchanting tipi lit by night and the very pretty florals.

Jenny and Richard’s wedding may just be the perfect fusion of pretty pastels and industrial style. There are so many sweet touches, ribbons, pinwheels, sunglasses and sunshine. Hoorah!

Charlotte and Dan’s post ceremony wedding party was just awesome. I love how they chose to do their day in their own way and totally went all out to celebrate with their loved ones. There are SO many crafty touches to inspire those of you that dream of a DIY wedding party.

Scott and Faye’s modern wedding was the epitome of cool, with a combination of botanical and bohemian styles their day had all the cool factor. Look out for greenery, peacock chairs and smoke bombs.

The stylish wedding of Jack and Kirsty was so beautiful, from the coral flowers everywhere to the epic table plan and gorgeous attire.

The flowers at Trish and Kevin’s wedding were incredible and the flower arch in particular made such a statement. But I also love that their day was centred around music and kept to a £10000 budget. Amazing.

All the city vibes with Jen and Lee’s industrial wedding day, complete with a party in a theatre. I love the chic outfit choices and the cool decorations, not to mention the street food trucks!

Melody and Martin’s farm wedding was centred around being vegan, ethical and organic. A relaxed atmosphere was at the heart of their day and it all turned out just beautifully.
What an incredible year of real weddings we’ve had here at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. I just want to take this opportunity to thank all of the fantastic couples, suppliers and photographers for sharing their real wedding stories with us. It’s been amazing. Here’s to 2020! xo Lou
