I love that today’s styled shoot was inspired by the change of season. February is a little in between really isn’t it? The last dark nights of winter fade into blossoming light filled spring. So the luxe copper and red wedding ideas here are perfect for weddings in late winter and early spring. Fresh and on trend metallics, fused with decadent rich florals and a stylish bridal look to boot.
I really adore the copper leaf cake, simple yet so striking and the rustic props against the modern floral hoops. So darling!

“The theme for this shoot was winter meets spring and it took place at the stunning Old Parish Rooms in Rayleigh, Essex – an old school house and parish hall that has been renovated into a stunning intimate wedding venue. The aim was to create a changing of seasons feel with touches of winter copper and warmth mixed with gorgeous spring floras by Shrinking Violet Flowers. The shoot took place at the end of February to coincide with the season change – cold fresh days with the first signs of spring blooms. We opted for a simple but elegant dress by Polka Bridal paired with a blush fur shrug and copper bridal shoes by Ted Baker.
The gorgeous décor details were created and styled by the talented ladies at Canopies and Canapés. The combination of copper tones, rustic wood and deep reds within the spring floras really creates a sense of winter and warmth. The amazing cake was created by Bunty’s Cakes and was a feature piece within the shoot, bringing together simplicity with the copper theme. We incorporated lots of candles and copper wire lanterns to help create the winter glow. The floras brought it all together with bright bursts of reds and pinks adding a fresh feel to the overall look.
Our stunning ‘bride’ – Natasha Khan from Leni’s models was made up by Cat Parnell from Unveil UK – a bridal hair and make-up agency for the fashion-forward bride. Cat is super talented and was able to create a stunningly natural and effortless look.”
