Welcome to the effortlessly beautiful wedding of WWW readers Lauren and Kieran in the New Forest, Hampshire.
Their woodland wedding was relaxed and rustic with an intimate vibe. Think unique outfits; hello Made with Love‘s Lola sequin wedding dress and blue check suit. Not to mention divine peach florals and a very special cake decorated with clay flowers.
From the woodland portraits to the elegant stationery you will adore this sublime day in the woods. Annie Bradney Photography thank you so much for sharing these stunning images with us.
Kieran proposed on Christmas Day 2020, it was just the two of us and Rodg (our beautiful rescue dog), in our lounge. It was understated and beautiful; I wouldn’t have had it any other way!

An intimate woodland wedding. We are a very relaxed couple so wanted something unique to show our personalities.
The venue itself was in a stunning setting so we wanted the wedding to flow with that, so lots of greenery!

We wanted to keep it as cheap as possible without compromising on anything so didn’t have a budget as such.

Weddings in the Wood, Minstead Manor Estate, Lyndhurst.
The venue is set within the woodlands of the New Forest. It’s quite a blank canvas and we were allowed to do whatever we wanted to it (within reason I’m sure)!
It has a beautiful barn with stunning oak beams that span the roof and a large wood burner – our ceremony was in this room. A marquee is attached to the side and back of the barn, where the rustic woodland bar is located, this was the perfect space for the wedding breakfast!
The lawns surrounding the venue was what made it for us, it provided a spectacular backdrop and the campfire in the trees was a big hit!

I walked down the aisle to ‘Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel’, along with my bridesmaids and two of the groomsmen who were flower boys.
We then left to ‘Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay’.

My dress was from Ava Louise Bridal in Southampton. The designer is Made With Love Bridal and the dress is called Lola.
I first saw it on Instagram and fell in love instantly. It had to be the first dress I tried on… low and behold, it was my favourite and nothing quite compared to it!
Kieran wore a navy tweed with blue overcheck suit from Suit Direct. This was one of many he liked from Suit Direct but decided on this one!

Annie Bradney Photography – one of the best investments from the wedding!
She has captured some of the most beautiful natural shots of us and our loved ones that we will cherish forever! She had such a laugh with us and our guests, everyone was at ease around her!

Decorations: We kept it super simple. I brought 50p vases from IKEA, which I filled with some dried flowers and scattered them around the venue.
The round tables had natural oak slices on them, with the IKEA vases on top. All of our stationery/signs were from Papier. We hired an incredible lighting company, called New Forest Event Lighting, which lit the venue beautifully!
Cake: It was a rustic naked cake which consisted of two tiers. It was made by a family friend of Kieran’s, she also made some beautiful flower decorations out of clay which will last a lifetime!
Flowers: Rose & Thorns – Carrie was a family friend of mine, so it was an absolute pleasure to have her do our wedding flowers. We had no idea what we wanted but asked for lots of whites, pinks and greenery – she created the most beautiful bouquets, buttonholes and tablepiece (for the registrar & top table)!

COVID limited us to where we could go, so we had a three-night break away in Oxford with Rodg. It was beautiful and the getaway that we needed. We have big plans to go to Hawaii and Las Vegas next year…if COVID allows.

We have so many memorable moments, as the day was absolutely perfect.
Leaving the ceremony, just us two and having a drink as a newly married couple has to be up there with one of the best moments.
The second one would have to be when Annie, our photographer, took us away for some evening photos – looking in and seeing everyone enjoying themselves was such a special moment.

It is your and your partner’s wedding day; do not let anyone else’s opinions dictate what you do.
Enjoy the planning, don’t stress about the little things.
Take in every single second on the day, it flies by quicker than you would ever imagine!
What an incredibly magical day.
Lauren and Kieran thank you so much for sharing your amazing wedding story with us.
