There is just so much to love about this Marbella elopement ideas editorial I have the pleasure of featuring today at Tikitano. First up, I love how the collaborative the team of suppliers behind this shoot was, there was a real feeling of togetherness and teamwork, which can be seen in the behind the scenes film by Reece Iveson Videography too. Wedding planners Weddings by Emily Charlotte and Optimum Weddings joined forces to create this dreamy boho style tropical wedding shoot and it’s ever so inspirational. Nora Photography captured everything beautifully; the terracotta tones, the dried palm leaves and all of the gorgeous outfits and accessories.
I just love the dramatic flower arrangements, including the flower arch, the suspended flowers above the table and that bouquet. The table set up was styled so well, it was adorned with romantic fabrics, tassel floral stationery and tall candles. Then there was the epic macaron tower cake and the stunning hair and make up looks. There is so much to soak up below and I am pretty sure you are going to want to pin it all.

Bohemian beach elopement in Marbella, Spain
Our editorial is celebrating the feeling of togetherness. Now more than ever this feels particularly relevant.
Initially the idea of the styled shoot came about to launch Weddings by Emily Charlotte’s expansion into destination weddings in Spain, by collaborating with Optimum Weddings. Our first example of coming together.

A common misconception is that wedding industry is a big, competitive machine. This partnership between two individual wedding planning businesses shows there is actually a huge amount collaboration rather than competition, support for one another and thriving together in this industry. Coming together can be mutually beneficial for wedding professionals and more importantly strengthens the offering to brides and grooms to be.

Creating an inspirational styled shoot relies heavily on the collaborative input from multiple suppliers – the venue, photographer, florist, hair and make up, clothing, accessories, place settings etc. Not only do suppliers provide their time and services, we all have to agree on a design concept, style and details. Our second example of coming together.

We love that engaged couples will spend hours browsing Pinterest, Instagram and blogs for inspiration that often results from editorials, but they are perhaps blissfully unaware of what goes into creating that final showcase. So, as well as photographing the shoot, we had a videographer capture behind-the-scenes to demonstrate the coming together of industry professionals to create something amazing… a showcase of services that can be replicated for the couples and their requirements.

Collectively we wanted our shoot to have a romantic feel, filled with bohemian details and a muted colour palette to perfectly compliment the bold, tropical background of warm terracotta tones and large palm leaves. Each element of the styling had this brief in mind, from the use of dried flowers, to the dress which was the right balance of soft and romantic, but fun and flowing. Each individual element of the editorial came together on the day to produce what we believe to be an inspirational Spanish styled shoot.

Our final and most important example of togetherness is of course the couple. This is what it’s all about. Whether it’s providing the inspiration through creating editorials or working as a team on the wedding day to meet and exceed the couples expectations, we are all there on to witness the one day all friends and family come together to celebrate the bride and groom, whilst they experience a feeling of togetherness like never before!
