Sophie and Joe’s Mount Pleasant Eco Park wedding in Cornwall totally rocked! From the bright and beautiful multicolours to the coastal location and sunflowers, it was all stunning.
I love how laid back their day felt, with a festival wedding vibe, fun decorations and a strictly vegan wedding menu. Their outfits amazingly were all high street purchases and I am sure you’ll agree Sophie and Joe looked incredible.
Stay tuned for a cool camper, custom light-up sign, cute pups and a show-stopping cake. Just epic. Alexa Poppe Photography I can’t thank you enough for sharing these brilliant images with us.

We went on a trip of a lifetime to Vegas in April 2018 and on the early morning of April 19th we went on a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon which was incredible.
Then when we got back to our hotel that afternoon I wanted to freshen up for dinner so we went to our room and I opened the door and the floor was full of rose petals leading to the bed and on the bed was an S & J in a heart with a bottle of champagne and I turned round like “what is happening?!”.
And Joe was on one knee giving a speech about how much he loved me! (It’s all a blur) but it was amazing and so special.

I’ve always wanted festival, peace and love hippy vibes wedding. Which is totally not traditional and a celebration of love and life and everyone we love.

We didn’t really have one which was stupid but we kept living by the term “you only live once”! But we literally had the wedding of our dreams and to be honest I’m happy with how much we spent.

The ceremony was outside in the amphitheatre where everyone could sit down casually. We had our family rockabilly band play in the evening and the rest of the music we chose ourselves.

The venue was Mount Pleasant Eco Park which is in Porthtowan, Cornwall. It’s a beautiful outdoors and indoors venue which is strictly vegetarian/vegan.
The food was by Wilder Allotment Kitchen who are based at the eco park and honestly it was faultless.

Honestly we both knew what we wanted so we didn’t go anywhere and try anything on, we just ordered bits online to try and went with what worked. We didn’t spend a huge amount on the outfits.
My dress was Phase 8 from Next and my bridesmaids were from ASOS. The boy’s outfits were from Zara/Next/ASOS.

Our amazing photographer Alexa Poppe really captured our day beautifully. She went above and beyond to get the perfect pictures for us and we really enjoyed having her share the day with us.

We had absolutely amazing and kind decorators who do festivals and events called Lovebite Creative, they went above and beyond all expectations.
Flowers were all done by my mum’s best friend who is a florist, they were sunflowers mainly but I chose really colourful flowers. The other odd bits I got off Etsy to decorate so they were all handmade and personalised.

Still waiting for our honeymoon.. but covid dependant we’re hoping to be jetting off to Japan to travel round a bit!

Our 18-month-old son stealing the limelight at the ceremony and all the speeches.

Be yourselves and enjoy every second. Too blessed to be stressed!

Wow wee, so bright and beautiful!
Sophie and Joe thank you so much for sharing your Mount Pleasant Eco Park wedding in Cornwall with us. What a treat it’s been!
