This beautiful wedding, held at Huerto Bonet in Spain on the 22nd September 2018, really captured my heart. It’s just so full of WWW readers Guille and Sonia’s personality that it will be sure to leave you feeling inspired. With a love of mountain hiking and beer, they combined the two to create an incredible celebration of their love, planned to perfection by Eventos Clandestine.
The setting really was idyllic, set in gardens surrounded by lush trees and plants. Their ceremony set up was nothing short of spectacular, with a triangle mountain wooden backdrop teamed with ferns running down the aisle. For their reception, the space was draped in hanging fabric and festoon lights complete with long tables laden with beer bottles filled with blooms below. Oh my!
I just love their style too, with Guille pairing shorts with a waistcoat and bow tie and Sonia wearing a flowing gown, so stunning. They both chose to wear their hiking boots too, a touch which really worked so well.
Huge thanks goes to Lorena Erre for sharing with us these amazing photographs. Enjoy.
There was not a romantic engagement we just decided to get married.

We imagined an informal and fun wedding as if it were an octoberfest style party. We love mountain hiking and beer. That is what we conveyed to the wedding planner so that she could get an idea of what we wanted.

The Clandestine Events team was in charge of everything.

The wedding was held in a village of Valencia called Alginet in a farmhouse surrounded by nature, Huerto Bonet is the name of the place.

I wanted a simple wedding dress, with movement, and that combined with my hiking boots, I chose a model by Rembo Styling.
Guille wanted a shorts, shirt, suspenders, bow tie and vest all from the firm Soloio, something summery and also combined it with his hiking boots.
My hairstyle was the work of Juan Pedro Estilistas, the makeup was the work of my cousin Cristina.
I wanted something simple and natural, like me.

There were no groomsmen and bridesmaids, we went to the ceremony together after our parents.

Music was live as we had a duo of ukuleles.
Groom’s entrance: Feeling Good Nina Simone
Lecturas primas novia: Mr Sandman
The first reading: Three Little Birds
Second reading: Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Third reading: Blue Moon
Rings and tree ritual: Hakuna matata y tonight you belong
Final song: Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine

There was no cake, but a buffet of delicious desserts.
All the flowers were the work of “Flores de Bohemia”, the florist who works with our wedding planner. Many colourful flowers to make table runners with beer bottles.

The whole wedding was set in our hobbies and personal tastes. Lorena of Eventos Clandestine was the designer of the entire wedding from the stationery, ceremony, flowers, space… everything followed the same thread.
Autumnal country style invitations.
At the end of the ceremony they released a mixture of dry and aromatic Mediterranean leaves like rosemary.
There were some wheelbarrows full of beers for the guests.
For the reception, long wooden tables and chairs crossed backwards.
The party ended with our wedding dance and live DJ.

We went to Argentina and it was spectacular to visit Patagonia, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires… really unforgettable.

The ceremony was really emotional and fun, the readings of our family and friends touched our hearts, especially Guille was very excited. The food was spectacular and we did not stop dancing during the party.
We opened the dance with a choreography that we prepared in a dance academy, the song we choose was “Satisfaction”, a Rolling Stones theme.
Our advice to other couples is that they enjoy their day to the fullest, it is an exciting time and everything happens very fast, do not hesitate to hire a wedding planner, thanks to it everything was much simpler. We had a unique and unforgettable wedding, all the guests remember it as an amazing celebration, carried out very much in our style.
