What a way to begin a Tuesday you guys! I am over the moon (pardon the pun!) to be sharing these utterly stunning navy and gold wedding ideas with you today. The brilliant Gina Fernandes Photography sent over these dreamy captures and I was smitten, why? Well the celestial vibes all round totally stole my heart, think crescent moon backdrops, constellations stationery and a glittering cake to name a few. The shoot was held at Thorpe Garden and the setting meant that the shoot organisers (Cicly Bridal and Becky Tranter) were able to utilise both the indoor and outdoor locations.
I have to say that the outfits were out of this world beautiful, the accessories so dreamy and the hair and make up on point. You are going to adore the tablescape, the cake backdrop, the modern flower arrangements and all the styling. It’s so gorgeous. Love.

The beautiful Thorpe Garden, part of the Cripps & Co, was the location for the first styled shoot organised by ‘Wild Blue Yonder’. Wild Blue Yonder is made up of the collaboration of Lisa & Victoria of Cicily Bridal and Becky Tranter. As soon as I saw the mood board, I knew I had to attend. The vision was modern, and bang on trend with the colour palette featuring some of my favourite colours. Wild Blue Yonder had secured a great venue and fabulous line up of local suppliers, all I had to do was turn up and photograph the style in my creative way.

It was a luxurious and elegant celestial themed shoot featuring deep blues and gold. The outdoor ceremony set up featured a moon and triangle backdrop provided by The little Wedding Warehouse. I am all for outdoor ceremonies and it felt incredibly romantic and intimate amongst the woodland. The indoor reception featured a gorgeous hanging floral arrangement, from Greenery & Co, over the main table with tones of blue, purple, pink and gold. All the florals had a mix of both dried and fresh flowers.

I love attending styled shoots like this as it gives me the opportunity to inspire those wedding planning, outside of wedding season. I also prefer styled shoots that feature real life couples as I know that I can photograph far more natural reactions which fits with my brand and style of photography. The chemistry between this real-life couple was electric! I think it’s far more inspirational for those wedding planning to see a real couple, it makes it much easier to visualise just how the styling could be adopted for the wedding day.

The bride wore unique separates by Charlie Brear, (provided by Cicily Bridal) perfect bridal wear for those who want to style in their own way. For this shoot, the bride wore sleeves and skirt with gold polka dots finished with a gold belt and celestial accessories from Victoria Percival. Make up, by Ruby, was kept natural with hints of gold. The groom, a blue slim fit suit by Tweed & Groom and the shoot also featured a well-dressed pug! Tuna and Bear provided Percy the pug’s smart attire.

I absolutely adored the stationery by Pen and Fold and cake from the Cake Spa. The colours and design were beautiful with elements of astrology. The cake topper from Burnt Island Occasions, really was the true ‘icing’ on the cake! The wooden backdrop for the cake was modern making the stylish cake a deserving stand-out feature and the stationery was unique with astrological elements. The shoot also featured a bridal model wearing a gorgeous Ana Kara dress. I had fun photographing her on the wooden moon shaped stand!
