There is so much to love about this old English wedding editorial which draws on inspiration from times gone past. There is a medieval style vintage gown, flower crowns and the most beautiful natural blooms you ever did see.
One of the wedding ideas I love most though has to be the washing line inspired linen hanging over the table. Pure genius and super simple to recreate too. Vintage tableware adorns the tables and the floral banner backdrop really works as a fun photo booth prop.
I cannot thank Eneka Stewart and the talented team enough for sending over such natural and pretty wedding inspiration.

The idea for the shoot was created by Ash from the Nagundo Tree. Josie and Fliss at The Boho Shack supported with styling and prop hire. Eneka a local wedding photographer captured every intimate moment between our couple. The Kings Chapel is a beautiful venue in the heart of Amersham Old Town.
The vibe for this shoot was an ode to the British Summer. This fuelled the traditional romance style, complimented by the Boho Shack’s array of classic props and vintage wear. We wanted to display how you can create a small intimate wedding in a larger venue, which would normally accommodate 100 guests.

The entire wedding party is able to sit down along one banqueting table, the flowers overhead surround the guests in an organic aura. Vintage linens drape from the ceiling representing the old fashioned washing lines once seen. The vintage china tea and harlequin wine glasses continue the traditional English feel, complimented with the linens and silver teapots.

The florals demonstrated a garden gathered style, trailing clematis vines were used for their elegance and flowering marjoram for the heady scent and delicate lilac shade. The gown worn by our ‘Bride’ was medieval esc and we complimented this with a halo of home-grown blooms.

The vintage floral backdrop created a regal photo booth setting, complimented with chez lounge and an array of collective vintage props. The dried flower arrangement pulled together the whole look teamed with the vintage rugs, gave a nod towards the traditional Old English Wedding.
