Wild horses, rays of Spring light streaming in through the trees, and a couple with smiles that will fill your hearts – these are just some of the wonders of Reagan and Nick’s laid-back outdoor wedding in the stunning countryside of South Eastern Oklahoma.
This fun, easy-going couple wanted their day to reflect their personalities, and the result is the wonderfully organic, earthy, and graceful celebration that we are so excited to share with you today. The whole day was beautifully captured by Zayne Williams – but I have to say that my absolute favourite shots have to be those of their adorable first look, so real and full of emotion. The bride’s lace sweetheart dress by Allure Bridal, alongside the neutral, blush tones of the bridesmaids’ gowns, make for a romantic palette perfectly in harmony with the woodlands watching over them as they tied the knot.
You won’t believe me when I tell you the florals were – wait for it – completely DIY! You will, however, find it utterly believable when I say that these lovebirds knew they were going to get married just 3 dates in. So natural, so effortless, and such an inspiration for everyone who wishes their wedding to be nothing less, and nothing more, than a genuine celebration of love.
Enjoy!

THE PROPOSAL | Nick and I knew we were going to get married about 3 dates in. Talking about proposing and marriage wasn’t weird for us. I told Nick not to make it cheesy and not to do it in a huge public space. Well…he proposed at a Christmas light festival with rose petals and tea candles. Cheesy and public. I still said yes.
THE VISION | We are both easy-going people, so we didn’t want anything to be over the top. We wanted to keep it us. Organic, earthy, and fun!
BUDGET | $13,000
THE VENUE | Big Creek Events
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Allure Bridal.
GROOM’S ATTIRE | Express
THE READINGS & MUSIC | We wrote our own vows.
THE FLOWERS | We actually did our own floral! I love flowers but quickly realized they are hella expensive! We ordered from Fifty Flowers and Sam’s club. Seriously such a fun experience. I wanted to be a florist by the end of it.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Zayne Williams
THE HONEYMOON | Riviera Maya
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | My most memorable moment was walking down the aisle. We did a first look, but I still bawled like a baby. It was also the first time I saw my husband cry. My husband’s most memorable moment was the first look.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Don’t overspend on invitations, centrepieces, and fancy food. Invest in a good photographer and videographer because that is all you will have after the wedding.
