We’re getting all dreamy today with Tiana and Holden’s whimsical meets bohemian garden party wedding. They hosted their wedding day at The Acre in Orlando, Florida on the 23rd February 2019 and were married outdoors against a beautiful flower arch in an unplugged ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The setting was truly magical and all the more enhanced I imagine by the harpist playing during their ceremony. They then held their reception in a marquee decorated beautifully with greenery and gold touches.
There are some very special moments including the first look, which always creates such wonderful photographs, as well as the sparkler exit come evening. In between those perfect moments we have some gorgeous touches such as succulent favours, lovely signs and a statement semi naked cake against a doughnut wall. I also have to say that Tiana and Holden along with their wedding party all looked stunning in their chosen attire, so much style!
Huge thanks goes to Dani Nichol Photography for sharing with us these super romantic images, sensational.

Our proposal is kind of a funny story. I am super picky, so we picked my ring out together at Tiffany’s. I picked my dream ring and had no idea when Holden would be or if he was going to even go through with purchasing the ring. We had a trip planned to go to Disney for a weekend and I never thought for a second that Holden would propose there because I always made fun of how cheesy and non-intimate Disney engagements were. After we park hopped all day, we returned to Magic Kingdom for the night firework show. Holden got down on one knee in the middle of a huge crown and pulled out my dream ring. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I love how he still managed to surprise me even though I chose my ring.

My vision for our wedding was a bohemian garden party.

The first thing I did was find our venue and planned around that choice. I don’t know if I would say I had a process because it was kind of scattered between my last semester of college, full time work, purchasing a house out of state, and Holden and I never being on the same schedule due to his Navy schedule. My best friend while planning was the Knot App, the checklist and budgeter helped keep me sane.
I found pretty much all of our vendors through Instagram. Tiana’s Tip: Once you have found your venue look up their hashtag and look at their tagged photos.

Our Coconut flavoured cake was from My Bakers Cottage Cakes.
Our honeymoon was an absolute dream. We rented out an Airbnb on an island in the 4th arrondissement that was within walking distance of the Notre Dame. We woke up early and came home late everyday taking the in the beauty of Paris. We booked a photographer and had the dreamiest photos taken in front of the Eiffel tower and the louvre.

My favourite moment from our wedding is when I iced my husband when he was looking for my garter.

Enjoy the planning process together and do not stress on the little things, it will all fall into place and truly no one but you will notice what’s wrong.
