This feature has to begin with the dress. I mean it’s a real show stopper, every floral pale pink tulle and bow sash inch of it. Stephanie found it in David’s Bridal and teamed with fluffy cardie and gold accessories she looked so amazing.
WWW readers Stephanie and Kevin were married on the 28th March 2015 and hoped for a wintry feel to their wedding. They plumped for a pale pink and green theme for their DIY décor and blooms which looked really gorgeous. There was a real simple yet classic feel to their day throughout.
Lynsey Grace Photography, many thanks for sharing these pretty shots today.

THE PROPOSAL | In a hotel room in Barcelona, October 2013.
THE VISION | A winter country wedding.
THE PLANNING PROCESS | Long and stressful, but completed with the help and support of many loving friends and family members (and my class of year 6 children too – Steph!)
BUDGET | £15,000
THE VENUE | Knowlton Court, Knowlton, Canterbury.
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Bought from David’s Bridal, Westfields, Stratford. Altered and finishing touches added by the incredible Althea Henry – a true genius!
FINDING THE DRESS | 4th dress I tried on in the one and only bridal shop I looked in properly!
GROOM’S ATTIRE | Hired from Young’s Hire in Debenhams, Canterbury.
THE READINGS & MUSIC | We chose a beautiful reading from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, read by the bride’s mum in the chapel blessing, along with a poem titled ‘Love’, written by Roy Croft and read by a friend and colleague of the bride.
BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | Bride’s sister, Sarah, groom’s sister, Kelly and mutual friend, Becky – all dresses also from David’s Bridal in the same fabric but 3 styles each to suit their personalities!
THE FLOWERS | Put together by the groom’s sister, Kelly, with nude and blush ranunculus and roses from Covent Garden flower market
THE CAKE | Designed by the bride and completed by Bearsted Bakery, Maidstone.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Lynsey Grace – amazing!
THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | A selection of vintage cut glass cake stands and mixed design glass bell jars, all sourced from vintage/charity shops and markets, mini white bud vases bought from Tiger, painted mini chalk boards for place name settings (also from Tiger).
A stunning real flower-framed table plan produced by Kelly, the groom’s sister along with a few other floral decorations and the button holes/bouquets.
THE HONEYMOON | A week spent in the Mira Hotel, Hong Kong, followed by a week in Thailand, in La Flora Spa Resort.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | 5 minutes of peace and quiet as a married couple before being welcomed in to the wedding breakfast – never underestimate how little time you will get together as a couple on this day!
A gorgeous and talented photographer who was the epitome of discretion throughout the day – exactly what we wanted!
Amazing speeches before the wedding breakfast, followed by beautiful food from Chives Caterers.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Although it is so important to be firm with your budget, you will (hopefully) only ever have one wedding day so don’t skimp on the little things – if it will complete your day and make it perfect for you both as a couple then it is definitely worth it! Also, as difficult as it is, really make the effort to speak to all guests at least once during the day. I felt as though I totally missed some guests and only knew they had been there from looking back at wedding photos – everyone deserves a thank you at least once for just turning up to share your day!
