If you are recently engaged and still deciding on which season to plump for, this beautiful wedding ideas shoot may just sway you. Winter is a beautiful time of year to say I do, bringing something to look forward to in those months where not as many events and celebrations are held. But also the season lends itself to cosy, romantic and warm vibes, rich colours and decadence. Plus just think forward to those anniversary celebrations in years to come.
This editorial shoot planned by Beth A Weddings brings so much joy to my day. I mean just look at those opulent, whimsical flowers, not to mention the on trend bridal look. I do love a spot of bridal knitwear and a red lip I have to say! The naked tipi backdrop indoors is a really lovely touch as is the luxe stationery and styling. Wow.
Thanks so much to Angela Ward Brown for sharing these images with us today, we love them.
“With the cold weather still keeping us in and the winter blues bringing us down, the shoot will surely remind why a winter wedding shouldn’t be dismissed. This photography by Angela Ward Brown will give you those feelings last experienced on Christmas morning. This shoot was inspired by all the things I love about the winter… beautiful greens and reds, gorgeous berries, big jumpers, wool blankets, candlelit romance and dreams of riding a sleigh through Norway’s alpine forests – made a reality by the incredible ‘With These Hands’. The White Space setting gave the icy cool backdrop to our Winter Wonderland. The beautiful stained glass windows allowed light to flood in, making our bride and everything around her shine like an Ice Queen. Many a winter bride has shivered their way through their wedding day, slowly turning blue, but this shoot shows that cosy and warm can also be cool and bridal, especially when paired with tulle or silk by Sienna Von Hildemar. This shoot is for the modern bride who loves those little details that make a big difference. Floral crown and bouquet by ‘Rabbit and the Rose’ gave a richness which, when paired with a strong red lip, by Rachael Johnson, was ridiculously striking – out hearts melted as we rolled our way though Angela’s camera at the end of the day.”
