My goodness we’re in for a real Springtime treat today, styled by Pumpkin Events! You’re going to be captivated by tumbling lilac wisteria backdrop, a combination of rose quartz and serenity blue tones and pure unadulterated romance. It wouldn’t be a spring wedding without oodles of seasonal blooms now would it? The florals here included the prettiest Peonies, Hydrangea, Delphinium and Roses which worked so perfectly. They blended with the statement sequin table cloths, gorgeous paper goods and bridal looks seamlessly. I think you’ll agree with me that these are some of the loveliest images I’ve clapped eyes on. Oh and, don’t miss the amazing cake table too. YUM.

“Set in the idyllic countryside of Staffordshire, the venue for our shoot was the rustic Packington Moor. A wedding venue just full of character with a vibe that makes you feel right at home. It was May last year when we actually put on the shoot, so the blooming wisteria created the most enchanting backdrop to our photos whilst other spots around the venue gave a more contemporary, almost industrial twist to the images taken.
The theme for the shoot was loosely based on the 2016 pantone colours of the year; rose quartz and serenity blue. A colour palette so perfect for a spring or summer wedding it just beams radiance, romance and a fresh spring aura. Our team of bridal experts including Chloe McCall Make Up Artist, Bridal Hair Specialists and the team from Cicily Bridal worked tirelessly to achieve the most incredible looks for our model Samantha Ford. Dresses were chosen for their soft silhouettes, floaty skirts, romantic lace and delicate details. As the venue is so versatile we were able to choose looks that include “classic romance” as well as “modern bohemian”. In addition to designers such as Kate Halfpenny, Naomi Neoh, Charlie Brear, Debbie Carlisle (hair pieces) and HM Veils the Ciciliy Bridal team chose to combine elements of high street pieces as this can bring individuality to a bride’s wedding day look. With this in mind carefully selected pieces from ASOS were brought to work alongside the dresses.
Inside, our team of stylists at Pumpkin Events combined champagne gold and pink tableware with flowers by Emily Wisher. Blooms were arranged in an abundant floral style, choosing Peonies, Hydrangea, Delphinium and Roses to really make a statement. In addition, stationery by Sarah Wants brought in the rustic vibe with textured wood backgrounds to her menus and place cards. The piece de resistance to Cotton and Crumbs’ cake display was the beautifully hand painted four tiered cake, accompanied by macaron topped cupcakes and sugar flowers that look prettier than the real thing! Set in the homely Oat Barn of the venue this delicate look really set the scene for the most romantic of wedding day’s.
And to capture it all the we were so lucky to have talented Anna from WE ARE // THE CLARKES on stand by with her camera. We hope these photos provide you with some inspiration for your whimsical wedding!”
