Makeup wise we are seeing brides going for a stronger lip, different shades of coral are a favourite and very flattering to most skin tones.
A very early start is the usual start to the day then travel to the wedding venue or home of the bride to get her ready.
Wedding mornings are usually very busy with time seeming to fly by! We usually work flat out until all of the bridal party is ready and then do any final touchups before the bride puts on the dress!
We sometimes help the bride into the dress – lacing up a dress is sometimes trickier and more time consuming than you would think!
Go for something similar to your normal style that you feel comfortable with. For example if you usually wear your hair down and feel happier with it down then wear it down on the wedding day and glam it up with a beautiful accessory or flowers – don’t go for an up-do if it will make you feel self conscious or uncomfortable. You will still want to feel like yourself on the wedding day!
Invest in a good cleanser and moisturiser. We love the Liz Earle Cleanse and polish system – it gently exfoliates your skin every time you cleanse leaving your skin fresh and bright. It is made from natural ingredients and also smells divine, a real treat!

Ahh so beautiful. I must say I am a huge fan of the waterfall plait, something which I’d love to try on my own tresses 🙂 Thanks so much to The Bridal Stylists for sharing their work today. Pop over to their site to get to know their brilliant team.
Have you chosen your bridal look yet? xo Lou
