The shoot was based at the beautiful South Farm in Cambridgeshire. It’s surrounded by fields and countryside and is a haven of a wedding venue. It provided the perfect backdrop to our shoot with gypsy wagons, stunning surroundings and a beautiful barn.
I was super lucky to have my lovely friend Alex AKA The Bijou Bride styling for the shoot. I could not have done the shoot without Alex, who worked so so hard in preparation and on the day, she really pulled everything together beautifully.
In today’s installment i am sharing the group shots of the girls only and will go into the other looks for the girls in more detail soon. Adeline was the vintage inspired bride, Laura was our bohemian/quirky bride and Kelly the classic bride. We wanted the girls to have different looks to represent their personalities, whilst confirming the eclectic ethos of Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, so hopefully there is something to appeal to all you gorgeous girls. We had the amazing Make Up By Katy beautifying and Sharon from Wonderful Wedding Hair taming those barnets into masterpieces.
We had incredible dresses from Vivien of Holloway, Lottie Emile, Sabina Motasem, Johanna Hehir and Amanda Wyatt. We had gorgeous accessories from What Katy Did Next, Madeleine Bride, Lottie-Emile and Flo and Percy.
Then we had some amazing touches and decor items. With incredible bespoke stationery thanks to the amazing Kate Ruth Romey, who also made the table number. Providing the beautiful bouquets and table centrepiece were Crazy Daisy Flowers. Rosalind Miller Cakes came to hang out as well as bringing along her amazing cake creation, with Pop Art Cakes bringing along some super sweet cake pops to complete the dessert table.
For a little bit of prop action we were really luck to have two Bon Bon Balloons alongside some of our own bits and pieces. Alex made the egg table plan and cake labels, we all brought along cakes for the day, i made the wooden decorated spoons, Kelly made the place names, the glass bottles Adeline’s, i brought the flowers for those from Waitrose the day before, and i also brought along the hundreds and thousands. So all in all it was a real team effort.
Last but not least we had the genius Anna Clarke Photography behind the camera and Simon Clarke Video Production filming us all. Dream. Team.
