The Bride Diaries. Tor's Engagement Shoot

Well….this week has been rather eventful! We were lucky enough to receive our engagement photos from the proper awesome Harry Michael Photography. The shots truly are brilliant and I can honestly say that I have never met anyone with as much enthusiasm for their work, than Harry! His army style, commando rolls in the fields, as he tried to get the best shot were rather spectacular!

It was definitely worth the 4am wake-up call! In order to catch the best light and ensure we had empty streets we had a sunrise shoot, around Marlow. It’s a place that we just love and our reception venue is just across the river. Harry was awesome and we felt so comfortable as we took the shots. He said we were naturals; but I bet his says that to all the couples he shoots!

We love our photos and it was such a good practice for the real thing!

In addition to this excitement, we also attended our separate stag and hen parties. I know for certain that I had one of the best weekends of my life! Chris went to Brighton his university town and came home with 20 plus bruises after paintballing! I meanwhile, went to Bath and stayed in the most gorgeous house (Bodhi House) with my nearest and dearest. We had a popstar themed party on the Friday, followed by a Shakira dance class and then dinner and dancing at ‘Opa’, a Greek restaurant in the centre of the city. It was amazing! It’s always difficult to bring together people from different parts of your life, but I have to say that my lovely Mum did an amazing job. Its helps that she’s basically a more fun and organised version of me, so it went without a hitch!

We now have less than a moth until the big day and all of the final preparations are in full swing! We cannot wait!
