Not A Fan Of Posed Photos?

I Am Here To Help

Dreading posed wedding photos? You're not alone. I photograph those who don’t want those traditional posed photos.
If you feel awkward posing for photos and want your wedding day captured naturally then I know how you feel.
I completely understand as I have been there myself. From my own wedding experience, I remember the discomfort of prolonged, staged photos. It felt as if I was a guest at my own wedding, taking away precious moments that could have been spent with loved ones. This personal experience deeply influenced my approach as a photographer.

To counter this, my approach is all about naturalness and ease. By asking simple, engaging questions, I capture your genuine reactions against the beautiful rural backdrop.

My focus is on quick, unposed sessions, allowing you to spend the maximum time celebrating with your guests and creating relaxed, authentic memories.

I want you to spend as much time with your loved ones as possible.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I do not want to be your best friend (they are already there), but I do want to help on the day. I like to get stuck in, which means helping with button holes, carrying flowers, and offering advice where needed. I find that by being myself, chatting with your guests, and helping wherever needed throughout the day, after a while, people stop looking at me as the photographer and just as another guest.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
I have a few points I like to tell every couple I photograph.

Forget and embrace the weather. If it rains, it rains, don't let that spoil your day. Just make the most of it and get some amazing photos in the rain.
Trust your photographer, but still have an opinion. Weddings are not photoshoots, so make sure you enjoy the day, but if your photographer recommends maybe changing the time line regarding your photos because you will get better light, that trust their opinion.
What are your artistic influences?
I'm a people watcher and someone who loves the outdoors. I love photographing couples outside with an amazing backdrop. When it comes to candid photography I take my inspiration from all walks of life. People's quirks and how they interact fascinate me and I love photographing that.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
I wouldn't say I have a favourite because of the wedding. I always say it's the bride and groom that make a wedding stand out. I've photographed some of the most mundane weddings but because of the people, how they interact and what the wedding means to them really makes it stick in my mind and stand out from the rest. It almost feels like I've made friends for life with some couples.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
Couples should choose me for a few reasons.

I belive I always give 100% to every couple I photograph. I want those couples to have the best days of their lives, and if I can help in any way then that makes it all worth while. I take my job very seriously and I'm very passionate about providing the best service I possibly can.

I also make it my point to work with people who don't really feel comfortable in front of the camera. I do this because I know how it feels. I don't like having my photo taken so to put another person who feels the same is a huge responsibility.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
I feel the best thing you can do to get the best results is get to know your photographer and feel comfortable with them. Photography is all about emotions, so you need to be able to open up with your photographer.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
I do like getting outdoors!
