I tend to let things happen naturally, without intervening too much and even when shooting the couples portraits I like to place them in a nice light and background and then I let them enjoy the moment rather than being in their face all the time.
I'm only ever chatty when I need to make someone comfortable with being in front of the camera. I like to be the fly on the wall but sometimes, to get the best pictures I have to "show" myself.
Don't set too many expectations and just enjoy the day, as the song says: "Que sera, sera!"
Too many amazing photographers to list here, but Joe Busink and Vanessa Joy are some of biggest influences.
I can't say I have one favourite wedding shoot because they all special and different, I recently shot a wedding in the Cotswolds that I really enjoyed. The scenery was absolutely amazing, the bride and groom were gorgeous and the whole day was full of joy which fills me with positive energy.
I aim to capture all important moments of a the wedding but I always love the speeches
Couples should choose me if they want a photographer that is calm, friendly and relaxed, who doesn't do too much posing and doesn't interfere with the workings of the day unless when needed.
I did win a couple of awards, yes, but I don't like to brag.
Not necessarily in this order but it's all about the light, moment and composition.

That I'm nice and friendly with everyone and that I'll do my very best to help on the day.
I always wanted to shoot at Elmore Court and Ashridge House.
