I have a very laidback, unobtrusive style. I like to make people feel comfortable and relaxed in my presence so I can get real, genuine reactions. Genuine, unfiltered reactions are at the heart of what I do and my approach through a wedding day
A mix of both, I like people to feel comfortable with me, so chatting can help do that, but I know when to blend into the background and let the emotion of a moment take over
Just be yourselves, relax and enjoy your day

My favourite wedding to shoot was Fred & Holly's wedding at the height of lockdown. They had planned on a small ceremony down near Tunbridge Wells. Then came the winter lockdown, and overnight we had to replan an entire wedding and move it from Tunbridge Wells to Manchester City Centre. It was just the couple, me and one of their parents, and it was the most incredible experience. I had to capture that wedding day so that those who couldn't be there could feel like part of the day. It was a stunning day full of emotion, relief and an understanding of what we had been able to achieve with less than 24 hours notice. The true definition of "Love finds a way"
Genuine, raw, unfiltered, real moments
My approach is to put people at ease, I want all of my couples to enjoy their wedding day. A wedding day is not a glorified photo shoot. It is a chance for couples to celebrate with their nearest and dearest, to have all of their friends and family in one place to celebrate that they found each other. My understanding of that is what I pride myself. I want to capture day as it is, no frills, nothing staged, just the moments from your day, captured for my couples so that can relive them for the rest of their lives.
To capture the real moments for my couples in an unobtrusive way
