Tell couples about your experience and approach
Let out the weird, wonderful and wild side of your love with Eyes Closed Head First. We treat each wedding with the passion and excitement it deserves, making sure to capture the real atmosphere of the event. Enjoy documentary-style candids throughout the day and a short session of easy, fun and romantic couple’s photos. Capturing everything discreetly, you’ll be able to enjoy your special day without feeling self-conscious.

My couples tell me that I made them look great and feel comfortable in front of the camera for the first time.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I like to think of myself as coming across like a guest with a camera! This means I can blend in, have a laugh, and make everybody feel comfortable. This way people barely even notice when I'm taking pictures!
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Lean in and focus on enjoying your day. Let me worry about the photos, it's what I'm good at!
What are your artistic influences?
Street photographers continually inspire me. They craft beautiful photographs on the fly with changing light and subjects? Sounds a lot like a wedding day, and is definitely the approach I try to take.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
I'm always aiming to capture moments of joy throughout the day, and a splash of good intentioned humour here and there too!
Have you won awards or been published in magazines?
I won the Hitched 2024 Wedding Awards based on outstanding customer feedback from my couples!
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
I try to remember that this will one day be a document in your family history, that these photographs will be looked at by your kids, their kids, and their kids too. It's important to me that because of this, the day is captured as authentically as possible.
What is your bucket list for amazing venues you’d love to shoot at?
I'd love to photograph a wedding at Tunnels Beaches in Devon, Kew Gardens in London, The Barbican in London or The Brighton i360
