James's profile info

A Danish/American photographer and videographer with a style that says "Wauw". It's your wedding, and it's your rules. I just make it all possible. I'm ready to adapt to the style and feel you're looking for to make your wedding day as perfect as you had imagined it with stellar quality images, a relaxed and confident approach, and with a background in movies and animation I can make anything happen. As I say to the couples who pick me; Your love is anything but ordinary, so why should your photography be.

Tell couples about your experience and approach
Having moved from Denmark to London 5 years ago and done destination weddings across the world, I've gathered a wealth of experience with my dream job and it shows in every photo I take. I believe that vibing with your photographer is crucial, and I always have a very personal touch in how I approach my weddings. Understanding who you are makes the photography show a much more fun side of everyone.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I value candid photos and to capture this I must be a bit of a ninja at times, stealthy and discreet, but I'll never say no to simultaneously being a part of the fun when the opportunity arises.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Do lists. I'm serious, just tons of lists and go through each step of the wedding and plan it. You can wing the trip to the grocery store, but you can't wing your wedding, the schedule is just too tight and there's too many things that you don't think about until you're in the situation. I've seen brides lose their mind over not having a list over which group photo configurations to do on the day. Plan ahead and find a toastmaster; a friend or family member who knows who's who and can take some of the weight off the wedding couple. Also, get a great photographer.
What are your artistic influences?
I find inspiration in a multitude of artists, media and literature. It all depends on the couple, so being able to get inspired by many different things is part of why I love my job.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
Definitely the shoot at Cheddar Gorge. It was a wonderful trip with adventure, mountains, sunsets and beaches. What more can you ask for. The result can be seen in my gallery.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
If you’ve always felt like you wanted more from life, then I am sure that we could come up with a way of making your wedding photos stand out in a world-class way. Your love is anything but ordinary, so why should your photos be.

This is about you, so you make the rules. I just make it all possible
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
You want your photographer to be someone you can trust.
You want them to be a reliable person that can help you through the day, and in the end make sure that your big day becomes a perfect memory. Your wedding day is unique, so it seems appropriate that your photos are too.
