Tell couples about your experience and approach
Wedding photography is about sharing priceless memories that last forever. It'll be my honour to help tell your story through beautiful photos. I have been a trusted photographer for several years.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I prefer to be as stealthily inconspicuous as possible. It's your event and guests, not mine. That said, I'm approachable, friendly and open to being invited into the celebration. I have an important job to do but it's best to be aware of my own presence.

Nailing the key angles and moments is critical, so quiet confidence, a good sense of timing and spacial awareness all play their parts. Otherwise, I prefer to work the most interesting angles near and far – those that only I will have the freedom to explore – while adding depth using layers, and clearly capturing emotions to best tell a story.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Consider, question and communicate. I am methodical and like to be prepared. Having good foresight to navigate issues and problem solving are traits I'm constantly developing. I work best with plenty of thought out information and descriptions of expectations from me.
What are your artistic influences?
My artistic and creative influences are from nature and my own observations. I'm not one to adopt any particular style of shooting or editing for the sake of it. I often choose to keep my photography looking as pleasingly natural to the way I saw it when taken.

If you really want to see things in the style of your latest favourite tastes, I can still probably emulate that for you.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
A definitive favourite wedding? I can't answer that, but a memorable moment of mine started as a couple were cutting their wedding cake, on a mild summer's night in Italy...

The deep warmth from that golden light and relaxed atmosphere was perfection. I had just caught some adorable kisses shared between the bride and groom, who were standing by the poolside – reflections on the calm water – with the most amazing hazy peach sunset, backdropped over the rolling Tuscan countryside. That was tough to beat I thought.

Celebrations were in full swing and by this point, it was nighttime and music filled the air. I followed ahead of the newlyweds to capture them with their cake. As I was poised, photographing them from the front as they started joyfully cutting in, sudden sounds of pops and crackling came up from behind them. Startled, the couple quickly turned as bright, colourful highlights flashed across the party. Fireworks!!

No sooner had the couple left the knife sticking out the side of their cake to watch the new light show, I was scouting the environment for my next angle. Everyone started gathering atop a wall drop to get a clear view of the sky. Since the only strong light source had now changed, I found myself bounding off and down in front of the wall like a camera ninja, to look back up at their illuminated expressions.

It was well worth the quick reactions and instinct. I love it! Finding the most interesting ways to make the best out of what you see is exciting. It's usually what others don't see either until I go there, do it, and show them. I take pride in that. Seeing what most people don't and sharing what I can imagine in the moment. That's a big part of what photography means to me.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
The moments of connection and emotion between people. It's such visual poetry.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
Because I see what most people don't and I'm talented in sharing that through beautiful, authentic multimedia.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
That I perfectly encapsulate the memories held in people's minds from moments throughout the wedding, and allow them to be relived for a lifetime. There's always beauty to be witnessed amongst loving people, coming together with great vibes.
Which venues have you shot at?
.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
That I care about what I do and what your wedding means to you. I take my job seriously and strive to always do my best to make you delighted with what we create together.
