Tell couples about your experience and approach
I have converted my years of photography and formal training into the wedding arena to offer a genuinely unique service. Pre-planning with you, along with my documentary style, will permit you to forget I am there as you fully immerse yourselves in the joy of the occasion. This allows 'moments' to be created and I love capturing them for you; I want you to be taken back to your day each time you look at your photographs - to see and feel the day all over again.

My ability to work in all lighting situations (it isn't always bright and sunny at every wedding) means I will still get you great photos and ones I hope are worthy of hanging on your wall. My images are bright and vibrant, hopefully offering you something pleasantly different to enjoy for your future together. I also am an accomplished wedding magician and will preform TV standard magic for you and your guests, creating more emotions and memories for you to keep.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
At the right times I am a fly on the wall - not in the way. I also become more of a 'character' during the group and couple portraits as I feel it needs a bit of personality to control a lot of people in a fun yet effective way or bring out some natural expressions.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Let me know your timetable, plans and ideas in advance. This allows you to stop thinking about how the day is going and enjoy it with your guests!
What are your artistic influences?
I am influenced by Neo-classical artists in how they captured light in a painting. This inspires me to attempt to create more dramatically lit couple portraits once I have all the typical shots captured. This creates the one-off 'wow' shots at sunset or in the evening that hopefully stand out for you.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
My favourite shoot to date was at Weston Park, Shropshire, a stunning stately home where heads of state have stayed. Not because of the beautiful surroundings but because the couple were wonderfully relaxed and dedicated time for me to be fully creative during their evening shoot. I loved capturing intimate moments of them together as they gazed over a lake, looking at the wonder of the venue and reflecting on what an unrepeatable experience they were in the middle of. A 'pinch me' moment!
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
The feelings and emotions of the day: the laughs, tears of joy, the sheer exhilaration on faces, that 1st kiss.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
Ultimately, they tell me they were drawn to me as I create shots that many photographers don't do - punchier, vibrant shots that exploit the light. I am told I deliver my clients wishes and they love that I gauge when to sit back or when to be a more colourful character.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
That I accurately capture the feelings and emotions experience by the couple and their guests. I need my clients to be able to be instantly taken back to this day for the rest of their lives, otherwise they are just photographs, not memories.
