I have been shooting people with a camera for over 30 years, since I was a kid. I love telling stories through pictures and finding ways to make my clients day extra special. I understand how important it is to connect with my couples, to help them through the day by allowing them to relax. How special their photographs will be in their and their children's future. I am a relaxed, easy going chap, who will tell the complete story of your day through beautiful and natural photographs. I like an informal approach, but enjoy taking the 'formal' shots too. I like to make light jokes, and to be a smiley but relaxed shooter, however it is not my day, not about me so I will fade into the background and move around quietly capturing smiles and laughter without you hardly noticing me.

Relax and enjoy it. When the day comes, all the hard work and planning will be over. This day will play in their memories for the rest of their lives, so they might as well have a ball!

As a professional singer I love the story telling side of capturing your day. I like reportage photography. I enjoy a mixture of black and white images.

My favourite wedding shoot was at York Minster, with hundreds of guests. I was tired that evening, but the majesty of the venue was worth it.

I am looking to shoot every key and special moment. I specialize in laughter and smiles. I am always looking for interesting angles and light. If I can capture secret glances and smiles between the couple, the wiping away of happy tears, the holding of hands and more, then I am happy I have done a good job.
