Tell couples about your experience and approach
My approach is simple, as your photographer I always want to capture you at your absolute best. I want to create images that really show who you both are as a couple and tell the story of your day in the best possible way I can. I don’t shout commands at you, I don’t ask you to pose, I want to capture you both in the moment, immersed in the best day of your life. I have 9 years of experience as a wedding photographer and have all the tricks up my sleeve to get the most out of you, even the most camera shy.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I can be both! My documentary style allows me to take a step back and be non -intrusive on the day. Having said that I like to chat to my couples and their guests to put them at ease - after all I am there to capture them at their most relaxed and happiest.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Relax, and always remember that as your wedding photographer, I have the memories covered!
What are your artistic influences?
I am influenced by many things when it comes to my photography , romantic and heartfelt imagery always strikes a chord, I adore the work of Tim Walker and Annie Leibovitz , the dreamlike element of their work is inspiring.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
When it comes to a favourite wedding shoot, I always picture the couple. A fun, laid back attitude and a willing to work together with me to get the best shots always brings back great memories for me.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
Expression, joy, laughs, emotion! It’s all in the fleeting moments. My couples are always overjoyed to see pictures that they never knew were happening on the day and it’s all captured in their photos to look back on time and time again.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
I love photography and I want to capture the very best images of their day and it’s not in my nature to disappoint.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
It’s important that I capture the feel of the day in its entirety , I want to cover the details, the looks, the preparations, the ceremony, the party and all the crazy and heartfelt moments in between.
