Tell couples about your experience and approach
Our approach to wedding photography is to create a set of images that perfectly tell your day. Our ambition is to give you a set of fine art portraits combined with documentary style images throughout the day.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
A combination of the both depending on what the scene needs, for most instances we will allow the wedding to happen around us, but during your couples shoots we will keep talking to encourage and relax you into the shoot.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Take time to soak everything in, you'll be amazed at how quickly the day will fly past.
What are your artistic influences?
I studied photography to a Bachelors Level so absolutely adore the classical masters of photography, I try to incorporate them into the images I take on the day.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
I shot a wedding at Westminster Cathedral and just fell in love with the architecture and grandeur of the building.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
For the majority of the day, it's the subtle moments between yourselves but also interactions between guests. We love the special moments like the first looks.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
I love to work with couples that are looking for really statement images, ones that will stand the test of time, we aren't instagram style photographers and look to create timeless images.
Have you won awards or been published in magazines?
I have won the international wedding photographer of the year as well as being a finalist in other awards. I have been published in two magazines.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
Really connecting with my couples. Before the wedding we have a fair amount of contact so that we best know what you are looking for on the day.
