Tell couples about your experience and approach
My approach is to capture weddings in a fun and natural way, but keep that luxurious look and feel to the photos. I’ve been photography weddings and events for 2 years. My goal is to go unnoticed for the majority of the day and keep posing to a minimum, but still achieve that posed luxurious look by incorporating movement and laughter to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I try and be a wall on the fly where possible. But I love to get to know the guests and couple and if need be, be loud to organise group and confetti shots. Most of the day though, I try to go unnoticed.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Take everything (where possible) in their stride, no wedding will go 100% according to plan, so just having fun will make the day (and the photos) even better.
What are your artistic influences?
Rebecca carpenter, Lekeria McNatt
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
My first time at The Oak Grove, I shot a wedding where the weather was just perfect and had one of my favourite golden hour shoots at a wedding. The laid back vibe and just overall joy really made the day, and photos just that touch better.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
Once in a lifetime moments, ones that cant be recreated, or posed.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
I’m often told by couples that their favourite photo of the day was one they didn’t even realise I took, which is my favourite response when delivering galleries. If you’re looking for someone who’s easy going, fun and stays out of the way unless there’s specific poses photos requested, I believe I’m the right photographer for you.
Have you won awards or been published in magazines?
Yes, hitched and Lux life.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
To make sure the day goes as smoothly as possible, and the photography is a fun experience with no added stress.
Which venues have you shot at?
The Oak Grove,
Wise Wedding Venue,
Hempstead House,
Cooling Castle Barn,
Upchurch River Valley Golf Club,
Newland Hall,
The Waterside Rickmansworth,
The Nightyard, Inn On The Lake.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
I am friendly and approachable, always up for a laugh and love to get creative.
What is your bucket list for amazing venues you’d love to shoot at?
Longton Wood,
The Dreys,
The Paper Mill
