Tell couples about your experience and approach
I have 18 years experience of shooting weddings in a natural and authentic way. In that time I've been named as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world and ranked as number one photographer in the UK on several platforms including Fearless Photographers, Wedding Photography Select, Mywed and Masters of Wedding Photography.

My approach is informal and mostly documentary, but I also love creative and quirky images as well as images that tell a story. I offer creative (non cheesy) portraits and pride myself on working quickly so that you can get on with enjoying your day!

I try not to follow trends, and on the whole will not ask you to look at the camera. I prefer real moments to contrived poses.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I like to talk couples through the day, offering advice and help as and when things happen. I'll talk to guests and help people to relax in front of the camera so that I can get close and create more meaningful and thoughtful images.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Don't look at your watch, be in the moment, enjoy every second.

As mentioned above, I will offer little tips and tricks as we go through the day. Things like how to hold a boquet, and where to put your hands for photos. Just little things that will make a difference and ensure you will like the way you look in the photos.
What are your artistic influences?
Anything away from the main stream. Images that make me say wow, or have to try hard to work out how they were made.

In terms of wedding photography, I'm mostly influenced by American and Australian photographers.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
It was on a working farm. The couple (who lived there) had the best time ever and the photos reflected this. It was very non-traditional, but full of more joy and love than most of the 'fancy' weddings I've photographed.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
Real, authentic, in between moments that really tell the story of you as a couple and the people close to you. Photos that will help you remember your wedding as it was and bring back all the fun and emotion of the day.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
Because the photos I will deliver will be unique to you. They won't look staged, contrived or be the same as everyone elses photos. You will receive good quality storytelling documentary images, unique and creative portraits.

I will guide you through the day and you can be confident that the images you receive will be the same style and quality as those in my portfolio.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
The most important thing to me is that the wedding remains a wedding and not a photoshoot. The images need to reflect the day and not the other way around. My aim is to capture all the fun, emotion and beauty of the occasion with as little fuss as possible whilst still getting all the images you would expect.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
That every wedding is hugely important to me and I treat every wedding differently based on the couple, venue, weather time of year etc. This ensures that your images will reflect your day perfectly.
Which venues have you worked at?
Too many to list. I've photographed nearly 700 weddings.
What is your bucket list for amazing venues you’d love to work at?
I'm lucky enough to have travelled the world photographing weddings. I don't really have a bucket list for venues as I believe weddings are about people and the energy that they bring to the day.
