We share the wedding day of Sylvia and Andrew who got married and has their reception at The Ned in London. Their day was captured by Corina Oghina.

About the couple:

I met Sylvia and Andrew a few months before their wedding and loved how fun and relaxed they were about everything. We had some drinks and chatted about their plans, and it was clear we were all going to have a great time and enjoy their day! Although they were initially a bit concerned about being in front of the camera, once I explained my relaxed and natural approach, all their worries vanished.

A little bit about the day and how it went:

We started the day with a small ceremony at the Southwark Register Office, attended only by the bride, groom, and three guests. It was truly beautiful and intimate. Afterwards, we moved to The Ned in central London for a very relaxed bridal prep. Everything ran smoothly, and it was a joy to be around so many smiling faces and fun kids. We had a caricaturist, an educational show for the children, and some fantastic dance moves later in the evening.

Do tell us a little bit about yourself:

I’m a wedding photographer based in Brighton, exploring various locations for my photography. I’ve always had a passion for capturing real-life stories, loving to see people being themselves and enjoying life. This passion led me to wedding photography—where I have the privilege of capturing one intensely joyful and fun day, surrounded by happy faces and incredible life stories.

How would you describe your photography style?

My photography style is fun, relaxed, and fuss-free, with a touch of quiet moments. I’m not there to make everyone look perfect; instead, I focus on capturing all the little moments, the meaningful looks, the tears of joy, and the couple enjoying the best time with their family and friends!

What did you love about the day?

I loved how intimate and lovely the whole day felt. It was as if I were part of the family, celebrating together. It was wonderful to see that Sylvia and Andrew truly trusted me, allowing me to work seamlessly and capture their day as beautifully as it was.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding day?

I have just one piece of advice for my couples, which may sound like a cliché but is truly that simple: Be yourself, enjoy yourself, love freely, and have a blast! Don’t worry about your wedding photography—that’s my job 🙂

A testimonial from my couple:

“We met with a couple of photographers during our search, and after our first meeting with Corina, we knew she was the one we wanted to work with. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, and we wanted to avoid overly staged photos. Corina really put our minds at ease with her suggestions, ideas, and overall manner. Her candid ‘in-the-moment’ photography style was exactly what we were looking for. She was super organised before the day, and on the actual day, she seamlessly captured moments as they happened. She stayed with us until the end of the evening, ensuring she recorded the entire day. Our photos are amazing and will always be treasured. Oh, and they were delivered exactly when she said they would be! We would not hesitate to recommend her.”
