Wedding favours can come in all shapes, sizes and forms. I have probably seen hundreds if not thousands of ideas. I have seen s’mores or marshmallow toasting kits a few times at weddings I’ve featured and always loved the idea.
Now I have created a fair few DIY Tutorials for the blog including wedding favour DIYs. These s’mores are really simple to put together and make for a lovely keepsake for your guests.
I thought today I would show you the process of making marshmallow roasting kits in case you were thinking of doing the same for your own celebration.
Top Tip. Be sure to tell your venue about your plans.
→ Marshmallows
→ Skewers (we displayed ours in a jar on the table)
→ Cellophane bags
→ Stickers & Pen
→ Biscuits
→ Chocolate
→ Candle/Fire for toasting
We sourced many of our items via eBay and Amazon.
I’d recommend before beginning sitting down together with a little production line for pure efficiency. It’s a good idea to experiment with the look of the stack you are creating before settling on the order too.
Open up your bag and place the biscuits in the bottom in a neat arrangement.
We then placed 4 chocolate squares on to the biscuit base of the package.

Pop your marshmallow on top.

As carefully as possible, fold your bag to secure your treats.

Stick down the bag with your pre drawn labels. I chose kraft paper hearts with a hand illustrated monogram I drew on each label.

Be sure to safely store until the big day. We left ours as late as possible to ensure freshness.
You could pop yours on your place settings or display like we did in a barrel with a rustic sign.
Happy crafting and toasting lovelies xo Lou
