Glacier Lagoon Iceland Anniversary Shoot

HOLY. WOW. I am not usually rendered speechless, but these images did just that. I’ll be honest – Iceland was never really on my ‘bucket list’ but Laura and Andrew’s first wedding anniversary photos have catapulted it straight there. Never have I seen such dramatic scenery and what a stunning place to renew vows! I just love this couple’s zest for life and for adventure. They chose Iceland as their location because it was their photographer’s favourite place in the world… so off they went.

Both of these lovebirds looked amazing and oh-so-happy, much like on their wedding day, which was also featured on WWW (hooray). Laura rocked another Stephanie Allin Couture dress and delicate gold and pearl accessories while Andrew wore a fashionable tweed jacket, vest, tie and skinny jeans from Dyfed Menswear. They exchanged beautiful words to each other on a glacier lagoon – so idyllic.

“We visited some breathtaking views, including the glacier lagoon and the abandoned plane wreck – just to name a few!. The black sandy beaches were one of the most spectacular settings I have ever witnessed, Andrew even found a perfectly carved heart shaped stone under our footing, a souvenir that has so much love behind it.”

“Our most special memory would be standing on the glacier lagoon reading our wedding vows to one another, with the nearest contact being the wild seals in the glacier lagoon. If felt like a snippet out of a Disney film, a magical moment that will stay with us forever and always. What a way to celebrate a first wedding anniversary!”
