If we have any Disney or book lovers out there, this one is definitely for you. WWW readers Morgan and Vincent lived out their very own fairytale day on September 24th 2016. The venue was Greystone Farm in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania and the perfectly executed theme was Alice in Wonderland.
The fun and bright feeling of their wedding was completely infectious and you can clearly see the joy on their family and friends’ faces. I adore the giant colourful paper flowers, which made fantastic props for shots of the bride and groom, as well as the bridal party’s multicoloured dresses, vests and bowties.
The multiple personal and DIY touches were predominantly crafted by the lovely Morgan and she has done a spectacular job. There were painted mushrooms, giant outdoor games, themed centrepieces and so much more. The bold colours and textures (including metallics and glitter) that were used came together to create a visual feast. I don’t know about you, but I am a huge sweet-tooth and that dessert table is to. die. for. with its mad hatter wedding cake, pies, cupcakes and lollies.
Thank you so much, Julie Floro Photography, for sharing these fabulous images with us.

THE PROPOSAL | Proposed at a Phillie’s game on the big screen on August 28th 2015.
THE VISION | As a lifelong Disney movie lover and firm believer in magic, I knew I wanted an Alice in Wonderland wedding from the very beginning.
THE PLANNING PROCESS | Hmm…very stressful! Vinny worked a lot (even on the weekends) the entire time trying to make as much extra money as he could. My bridesmaids were all busy with their own lives and big events going on with them, so I took all of the responsibilities of creating and crafting everything– so at times it was very stressful. When Vinny was home and helping, it was so fun and exciting.
BUDGET | Our budget was small because we were paying for the wedding by ourselves. We originally had planned on not exceeding $8,000…but quickly went over that and ended up spending roughly $13,000.
THE VENUE | Greystone Farm in Kintnersville, PA
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | My dress was from David’s Bridal and my pearls were a gift from my grandmother.
FINDING THE DRESS | It was the first one I tried on and I left the store with it that day!
GROOM’S ATTIRE | Grey suit and white tie with a custom boutonniere made out of two Lewis Carroll drawings out of the original Alice in Wonderland books.
THE READINGS & MUSIC | ‘I Carry Your Heart’ by EE Cummings and Ruth 1:16. Ceremony music was done by Lovey Williams of Plumsteadville, PA.
BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | Maid of Honor, Bernice Sacks and Matron of Honor, Kate Weiss. Bridesmaids: Kerstyn Pipolo, Brittany Groover, Niki Brown, Krista Weaver, Casey Kraemer and Sarah Clark.
THE FLOWERS | Wildflowers, Gerbera Daisies and Baby’s Breath done by Jillian Moninghoff of Ottsville, PA.
THE CAKE | Andrea’s Sweet Confections Shoppe based out of Nazareth, PA–she did our entire sweets table!
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Julie Floro of Julie Floro Photography.
THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | Homemade gold mason jars, handmade beading, handcrafted Mad Hatter pots with yellow mums, handmade mushrooms made of fallen trees, paint and felt.
THE HONEYMOON | Disney World.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | The whole night was really wonderful and flowed almost seamlessly. I think a moment that truly stands out to me is stepping outside for some air during the reception and seeing our ring bearer and flower girl laughing and playing in front of the barn that had a projector playing Alice in Wonderland. For them, it felt like being at a drive-through movie because they had never seen a “TV” so big. So many adults were out there too, enjoying their drinks and watching the movie. It was really touching to have our guests coming up to me all night and telling me what they loved most and how much fun they were having. Over a year of planning and stress was so worth it to see the smile on everyone’s face and to be surrounded by family who travelled so far to be there that day.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Enjoy the engagement, it goes by so quickly. That’s one thing I wish I did more of. Always remember, this day is about the two of you and nothing else, so always do what you two feel is right.
