So here we have ten of my very favourite real weddings we have featured these past twelve months. I can’t say it was at all easy to narrow down the hundreds of real weddings we have had the pleasure of sharing, after all I just love all of the stories we share on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. But here are my most memorable stories.
As soon as I saw Alice’s bouquet I was smitten, and so were you over on Instagram as it turned out to be our most liked image ever on our feed. WWW readers Alice and Andrew’s nuptials certainly set 2018 off to a vibrant start with their colourful DIY style wedding, it stole my heart.

OK, there may be a slight theme emerging here already, I can’t help it though. I just LOVE colour. WWW readers Craig and Sian injected so much style and personality into their wedding. All the inspiration here folks!

WWW readers Jade and Matt had a beautiful bohemian style day, filled with florals and set in a rustic barn. There really isn’t anything not to love about their celebrations.

I love how paired back and simple WWW readers Kenndel and Dan’s wedding was. So chic, rustic and bohemian, like a breath of fresh air. I just adore all the greenery and that dress.

Quite possibly set in my most favourite season, Autumn, WWW readers Grant and Clare’s wedding features the most incredible seasonal florals in the most amazing colour palette. The light, the venue, the images, all on point. Wow.

I do love a spot of craft and this DIY wedding really does tick all of the boxes. WWW readers Kirsty and Sam went all out and created a wedding barn of dreams, think pinwheels, signage and fairy lights galore. Oh my.

WWW readers Becki and Nick had such a romantic wedding, filled with natural relaxed style and an abundance of foliage. The outfits and woodland portraits had me swooning.

WWW readers Mel and Tom’s epic nuptials were just achingly cool and fun. I love a party vibe and I have to say that Mel’s dress and indeed all the chosen outfits were so utterly stylish.

WWW readers Karly and Matt’s wedding features some of the most spectacular florals ever and they work so well in the beautiful industrial style venue they chose. From the backdrop to the bouquet and the hanging hoops, isn’t it all just so dreamy?

WWW readers Ant and Kloe’s wedding hit all the key wedding trends with their outdoor ceremony complete with a Persian rug aisle, dream catchers and a flower arch backdrop. Team all of those elements with summer sunshine and a lot of love and you have the perfect wedding day.

It really is a pinch me moment, seeing just what beautiful weddings we’ve had the honour of sharing this year. We already have some stunning features lined up for the new year too, so I just know 2019 is going to be pretty special.
