Now here is a set of images that really shine bright, brought to us from The Giraffe Shed plus photographed and filmed superbly by When Charlie Met Hannah. With two concepts, this eclectic wedding ideas shoot really screams personality. For the first look think 90s roller disco, with a bright pink wall, alternative style bride and neon lighting. For the second look, we have an edgy ethereal ballerina style bride, with gold and black tablescape décor and a dramatic pampas grass moon gate flower arch. Oh my!
I have to say one of my fave parts to this shoot has to be the unique dresses and the super cool accessories. With personalised boots and jackets, plus colourful veils all featuring. So awesome. There was also inspirational hair and make up looks, seriously gorgeous flowers, a statement cake as the centrepiece and sublime styling. What a feast for the eyes.
When we found out that our friend Hannah was building such a kick ass sounding venue we just knew we wanted to shoot at The Giraffe Shed.
We knew the space would be amazing but we were really blown away with what an epic venue this really is! We had an idea for a 90s roller disco theme but when we saw just how eclectic the space was, we knew we wanted to incorporate as much as possible of it into the shoot.

The pink wall and disco balls inside combined with the candy floss wall outside lent itself perfectly to our original idea so we went all out with the big hair, bright make up, pink bubblegum, incredible painted jacket and DMs by The Mermaid Effect and dressed Ellie in giant sequins, polka dots, a pink veil and we got her into some roller skates! Talk about ‘doing bridal your way’ – Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique’s most appropriate tagline!

The ethereal moodiness of the red brick walls and beautiful windows was the backdrop for our other beautiful model Rhi, who donned her old ballet slippers and became our black swan. Lumi Events created a gorgeous table display and we used black and gold styling throughout to tie the two elements together. Something Sam of Sam’s Sweet Treats absolutely nailed with that incredible cake!

All of the suppliers involved in the shoot are so ridiculously talented, we wholeheartedly recommend that anyone getting married check them out! They took our ideas and really did an amazing job of creating styling and details that combined the two perfectly. HUGE thank you to the team!
And if you haven’t found your venue yet – definitely visit the Giraffe Shed!
