I hear you, you know you need to book in your wedding suppliers, but just which suppliers do you need for your wedding? And when should you book those wedding suppliers? Well I am here today to help you navigate the wedding suppliers you need to look into and hopefully book in at the right time too.

When you take a look at the list below of wedding suppliers you may need for your wedding, bear in mind that every single wedding is unique. Some of the featured wedding suppliers will not be relevant to you and that’s totally OK.
This is a guide to all the different kind of wedding suppliers you can think about booking. Some will work for your wedding and some won’t, I totally get that. But I am hoping this will be your comprehensive guide to help you to work out where to go next with your wedding planning.

There are no set rules when it comes to wedding supplier booking order. But there are some key points to think about before going ahead and paying your deposit. I have listed below the order in which you should consider booking in your wedding suppliers.
For example, you can’t book in certain wedding suppliers without a date, for which you may need your venue booked in. Or perhaps you don’t want certain elements in your wedding day. That’s completely normal, never feel that you have to have anything for your day. As always be sure to spend within your budget and with whatever makes you comfortable and happy.
You may have chosen your engagement ring already, or perhaps it needs to be resized. Maybe you want to choose your rings together? Then you definitely need to find the perfect wedding jeweller or ring designer. You may wish to then use the same designer to purchase your wedding rings from too – if you are opting to have wedding rings.
A wedding planner can really help you to lift the burden of wed-min. This means you can focus on all the fun stuff, like choosing entertainment and decorations. So if you are looking for a professional to take away the time involved in wedding planning think about booking your planner now.

The ceremony venue should be the first step in officially getting your wedding suppliers booked. Once you have your ceremony venue, you can get cracking on the next steps of your wedding planning.
Now you have your ceremony date booked, think about who is conducting the ceremony. If you are having a religious ceremony or a humanist wedding celebrant, it’s time to find your officiant.
If you are not holding your ceremony and reception at the same wedding venue do get onto the second venue booking quickly. You won’t want to miss out on your dream wedding venue because availability is an issue.
It’s crucial to think about taking out wedding insurance. It’s not glamorous but you can relax in the knowledge that should anything go wrong you are covered. Be sure to carefully check the policy though to ensure everything is covered for your wedding.

Booking a professional wedding photographer is advised for the very best service and photographs. You can feel confident in front of the lens with a professional who knows exactly what they are doing. Many couples we feature in real weddings on the blog mention that they wish they had booked a wedding videographer. Capturing your wedding on film is the most amazing way to relive your wedding. Sights and sounds you may have forgotten or even missed can be treasured for years and years.
Whether you are looking for bridal fashion or groom fashion it’s important to think about the designer you’d like to choose. Also, consider where you will be purchasing your outfits from. Next up, think about finding the perfect supplier for your wedding party outfits. Whether that’s for the bridesmaids, groomsmen, bridesmen or groomsmaids; or family members’ outfits. Get searching for the perfect attire.
Wedding entertainment can make or break a wedding. If you are looking for a DJ, live musician, magician, dance act or another entertaining idea it’s good to book them in early. The best wedding bands and artists can sometimes be booked really far in advance.
If your wedding venue doesn’t organise the food and drink or you don’t have a recommended supplier list to refer to. Then get to looking for your caterer and bar suppliers quickly. Food and drink can take up quite a bit of your wedding budget, so it’s good to book in these wedding suppliers early on. That way you know what you have left in the budget for the little details.

To communicate all the updates directly to your guests it can be a great idea to have a wedding website set up. There are a lot of companies that offer custom wedding sites and it’s a great way of sharing all the little details.
Wedding cakes are one of the most fun elements of wedding planning, who doesn’t love a cake tasting?! But in all seriousness finding the right wedding cake designer is about finding the right style and taste to suit your day. Do your homework and find a baker that really makes your heart sing.
Your wedding stationery is the very first insight into how your wedding will be styled. It’s the first exciting landmark for your wedding guests and so you will want your paper goods to be super special. Find a stationery designer that fits your brief and let them go to town creating something truly personal to you.

Finding the right wedding florist isn’t always easy. There are many different floral styles and ethical considerations. Are you looking for formal, structured arrangements or perhaps you are looking for wild, local flowers or dried blooms? Every wedding florist has a unique style so it’s good to nail down what you are looking for before you find the one.
You may be looking to DIY some of your wedding décor, but finding wedding décor to hire is a great way to potentially save on costs. Not only that but you can relax in the knowledge that you are being kind to the planet and can save precious time.

You have your wedding outfits, but how about those all-important groom and bridal accessories? Those finishing touches can really make an outfit and finding the right wedding supplier will ensure your outfit totally pops.
Dream of travelling in style? Then you will want wedding transport that has you arriving in your perfect vehicle. There are so many unique and fun wedding cars around that you are going to be spoilt for choice. Promise.

Ensuring you have a wedding hairstylist you can trust is so important on your wedding day. Your hair can really make a difference to how confident you feel. Don’t forget a good wedding hairstylist will also help you to relax on or before the day too.
Last but certainly not least be sure to find a wedding make up artist that suits your style. But who makes you feel like a million dollars too. The best wedding make up artists will be able to advise on skin care and help your make up last all day too.
