Pure joy right there ❤️ In fact this colourful museum wedding is filled with smiles and laughter all day long, which is always my very favourite thing to see at a wedding.
Introducing Julianne and Jack who held their wedding at The Children’s Museum of Memphis on the 8th August 2020 in Tennessee in the US. Their day was filled with colour and fun, from the multicoloured flowers to the carousel rides and the confetti moment. There were safety measures in place due to COVID19, but the hand sanitiser and mask signs were styled perfectly, which didn’t take anything away from their day, but actually added to it.
There were also beautiful outfits and a really cute polka dot cake. But most of all, a lot of love. Thanks to Taylor Square Photography Co. for sharing these joyous images with us.

Mackenzie (photographer) – Anyone who was a part of Jack and Julianne’s wedding day will agree that it was magical. Holy. Joyful. There was just a sense of The Lord’s Presence there in a way that I’ll always remember. The love between Jack and Julianne is so pure and beautiful. It’s simple, but deep. I feel confident that Heaven rejoiced when their souls officially united.
Julianne (bride) – I love traditions, so we did all the classic wedding activities. We had toasts, cut the cake, did a first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. We had something old (My dress was my grandmother’s and my veil was my other grandmother’s family veil.), something borrowed (My earrings were my mother’s, that she wore at her wedding. They were my father’s wedding present to her. Jack borrowed his father’s tie that he wore when he married his mom.), something blue (My shoes and my groom’s shoes were blue. His were blue suede because we love Memphis with our whole hearts.).
When my mom and I first started planning the details of the wedding, we went to Pinterest to find some inspiration pictures. We went through many photos of beautiful weddings and flowers, but nothing had the colors, whimsy, and fun I was hoping for. Finally, we found a stunning photo featuring a cacophony of colors. It made me feel joyful every time I looked at the image, and we knew this was the inspiration picture. Then, we searched for fun, colorful venues and found the Children’s Museum of Memphis, and the rest fell into place.
