We’re escaping to the beautiful woodland today, courtesy of Supplier Love member The Green Escape who hosted this glorious bronze wedding ideas editorial at their scenic venue. There were natural textures and materials, seasonal local blooms in earthy tones and simply beautiful dresses. Whoa!
I have a funny feeling you are going to adore the rustic outdoor table set up, the striking flower arch and the gorgeous bride and groom looks. There is so much to be inspired by here, especially if you are planning a cosy autumn wedding. The romance, joy and all the sumptuous inspiration was captured by Vladana Parker

Inspired by the sheer beauty of The Green Escape’s glorious Autumnal woodland, the desire was to create a sumptuous, rustic wedding that sat harmoniously within the magical forest venue. Building a real feast for all the senses, playing with natural textures, lace and silk, sheepskins and wood. The colour palette was filled with warm earthy tones, rich bronzes, sumptuous peach shades and splashes of berry reds.
The floral creations from Bud and Flower, gathered seasonal blooms and evergreen foliage. Forest ferns adorned the pew ends and glowing candle lanterns laid with green moss added simple touches to keep drawing back to the woodland surround. The majestic floral wedding arch created a show-stopping focal point, beautifully fastened directly to a bowing tree. Bursts of metallic foliage featured throughout, adding luxury to the stunning display. The floral crown, bouquet and buttonhole contained roses, berries, feathers and foliage as if plucked straight from the woods. Keen to embrace The Green Escape’s eco ethos, blooms were seasonal, locally sourced or foraged and the arch made using biodegradable foam.

We were lucky enough to work with two fantastic dress designers and showcase three different bridal looks. Future Folklore creates extraordinary jewellery and clothing with a touch of the curious, skilfully reworking the fabric from vintage wedding dresses to create stunning new pieces. Layered with tulle, lace, crocheted florals a soft feather neckline and a sumptuous silk ribbon tie back, the dress was teamed with white Dr Marten boots, a perfect mismatched partnership of dreamy romantic with an edgy twist.
Queens of luxury vintage, Hope & Harlequin, specialise in curating original pieces and creating new, vintage style, Made-to-order wedding dresses. With billowing sheer long sleeves, cuffed wrists and swathes of chiffon silk, the first dress is an original 1970s bohemian fantasy, brimming with gorgeous details. For the wedding ceremony, the look was kept simple and stunning. The bias but silk dress in off white added a very chic and more contemporary look. Featuring a beautiful low cut draped back and partnered with the optional tulle lace floral top, it was the perfect option for the cooler Autumnal weather.

The make up look created by Joanne Hook was a gorgeous natural, glowing skin with warm toned smokey eye and nude stained lips.
The Green Escape dining tables, made from tree slices and bark covered legs, became the rustic backdrop for a fantasy feasting space. Filled with foliage garland and an abundance of candles on log plinths. Table settings were made up with natural linen napkins, tied with ivy and raffia, mismatched vintage crockery and antique cutlery.
The beautiful results, a warm and inviting wilderness wedding, perfect for free spirited lovers.
