Styling your wedding tables can take quite a bit of thought and I know can be a fairly daunting process. But today I am teaming up with the wonderful Rosemood to bring you my top tips on how to create your wedding table decor style with one of their designs from their wedding stationery collection.
Making your wedding table both effortlessly beautiful, but stress-free to create, envisage and put together is key. You not only want your wedding reception to have wow factor, but you want to also enjoy the process of creating your wedding table decor.
Plus I am going to show you a place setting I styled in my own home with beautiful table names, place cards, menus, gift bags, tags and cute stickers from Rosemood’s beautiful Ever Thine Ever Mine collection.
Oh, and did I mention? Rosemood are giving away £250 of wedding stationery to one lucky winner. So exciting!
Let’s get real, what is the point in creating a wedding table that just doesn’t scream you? When it comes to your wedding decor, always, first and foremost think about you as a couple.
Turn to your home and interior loves, look at the clothes you wear, your hobbies and your favourite colours. Then you can start brainstorming ideas and your perfect wedding table vision. But first, there are a few factors to consider, shall we dive on in?

It’s best to start thinking about your wedding table and decor, once you have your wedding location nailed down. That way you can think about your surroundings before you consider the style.
Are you in a rural setting, perhaps you’d like a more floral vibe to your stationery? Perhaps you are jetting somewhere exotic and would like a more destination vibe paper goods. City weddings could suit a more modern suite.
You then could think about the lighting and centrepieces to tie in with your wedding day location and match to your stationery for perfect harmony.

It’s so important not to forget about your wedding venue and the atmosphere of your reception room. Is it dark and cosy, or is it light and bright?
Take a look at past wedding images from the venue to get an idea of how different wedding decor styles fit in (it’s also helpful for wedding table layouts!). If your reception room is modern and paired back you may wish to keep that atmosphere or use the blank canvas to go all-out colourful.
Rustic weddings have been really popular, featuring wooden materials teamed with natural neutral fabrics. Rustic style stationery can then really pop and become a fantastic feature to your table set up.
How about the boho wedding trend? Generally, bohemian weddings can fit anywhere, but I think they suit more countryside venues. Think outdoor festival vibes, beach ceremonies, woodland receptions and barns. Then add in your chosen decor and paper items to really create your wow.
The season of your wedding can have as much impact on your wedding decor as you so wish. There really are no rules when it comes to wedding decor.
If you are having a summer wedding, you can go dark and moody, don’t feel like you have to stick with light bright tones. However, if that’s what you love, you go for it.
Spring blooms are so pretty and often have a great array of flowers that can influence your decor choice and colour palette. Pastels and fresh decor can work really well. I’d also recommend the Rosemood’s Your Wedding In Watercolour stationery collection for Springtime wedding tables. So pretty!
Summer weddings arguably are the most popular due to the longer days and warm weather. Take advantage of the sunshine and think vibrant tones and fun accessories to your tables. Fun favours could include summer items like sun cream, lollies or fans, which you can then tag with Rosemood’s cute favour stickers.
In the autumn the colours of nature really come into their own. I styled this table in the autumn and used seasonal flowers from my garden. As you can see the tones are rich, warm and jewel-like. Teamed with chic, elegant stationery they really stand out too. Pair with twinkling lights and bottles of fizz.
There is something really magical about a winter wedding. Dark cosy evenings with candlelight, a roaring fire and warming drinks create such a wonderful atmosphere. Using metallics and sparkle is a great way for the evening light to pick up the shine.
Be sure to add plenty of candles to your wedding table, as well as those important wedding menus detailing all of that gorgeous food you’ll be enjoying.
Let’s take a look at some of the items you may need for your wedding table decor:
Be sure to make a list of your must-haves to keep you organised and ensure you don’t forget any of your important table decor items.
Your wedding stationery creates such atmosphere and tone when it comes to your wedding table decor. It’s essential for giving accurate information to your guests so your day runs clearly (trust me you don’t want your guests wandering around trying to find their seats for a long time), but also can look amazing if you choose wisely.
It’s always best to go with your gut when it comes to choosing your wedding stationery. You’ll get that vibe as soon as you see it, but it’s also advisable to order a sample. That way you can feel the quality in your own hands and see the intricate details that may not be visible on a screen (Rosemood offer free samples by the way!).
I would also recommend sticking to one stationery design throughout for cohesion and clarity. Matching your on-the-day stationery will really bring together your wedding tables and decor. But if you fancy a different style invitation before the day, that totally works too.
Rosemood really looks after their couples and their team will look after your wedding stationery from a-z. Retouching, proofreading and going through the delicate hands of their Atelier Team who print, cut, foil, and create your orders using artisanal techniques and under their watchful eye.
You can also totally personalise your wedding stationery using their online tool. You can change:
Plus you can test out different designs and options until you find the right fit for your day. It really couldn’t be easier or more customisable. Let’s face it, you want your wedding stationery to be yours and yours alone.
On a side note, Rosemood really cares about the planet. You can read their commitment to the environment here. It’s so important to consider who is producing your stationery and Rosemood have a great commitment to sustainabilty which is something I think is simply wonderful.

Don’t forget Rosemood are giving away £250 of wedding stationery to one lucky winner. All you need to do to enter is pop on over to their site and complete the form. Good luck!
