Whimsical Alice in Wonderland Inspired Wedding

There really isn’t anything not to love about Alice and Jamie’s whimsical wonderland wedding held in the Autumn. It was all just beautiful.

They had a loose Alice in Wonderland theme, which created so much playfulness and character. Think homemade clock centrepieces, a clock table plan and even cute stickers on the soles of WWW Wedding Supplier fave Rainbow Club‘s fab shoes.

Then there were the stunning flowers (hello hoop bouquets) and of course, the fantastic attire. I love the suits, Alice’s lacy gown and the sage green bridesmaids. Look out for smoke bombs too, they looked so much fun!

Whimsical Alice in Wonderland Wedding

The Vision

Alice in wonderland loose theme, rustic, fun.

We wanted the church service to feel formal, emotional, sincere and significant. Then the reception to be one huge celebration with our family and friends filled with love and laughter.

The Venue

I own the cafe at the top of Caen Hill Locks Devizes and we had a marquee alongside the land. For me walking to work every day and being able to see the place you got married has such a special meaning. We’re also the only people to ever get married there.

Your Outfits

My dress was from ASOS and alterations were by the hen house Devizes.

Jamie’s suit was Moss Bros.

The Ceremony & Music

Ceremony St. Peter’s church. Music by The Bristol String Quartet – we walked down the aisle to ‘cry Hans Zimmer’ from the film The holiday.

Memorable Moments

Our favourite memory was walking down the canal behind all our guests and then they all lined up for the confetti shot. We could see over the water the incredible marquee next to every single person we love, it was a real wow goosebump moment.

Advice For Other Couples

It’s your day and if you plan the day for you without worrying about other people your smiles and laughter will shine through and that itself will make it the best day for the people who love you.
