Hold on tight, you’re about to be whisked away to Nottinghamshire for Alex and Jess’ magical autumn wedding at Hodsock Priory. Swoon!
I adore their autumnal day with rust orange tones, gorgeous blooms and sumptuous style. Alex and Jess looked sensational in their outfits and I just love those burnt orange bridesmaid frocks! There were fun smoke flares, pretty confetti, a cute vintage iced wedding cake and so many smiles all day long. Wow.
I can’t thank Fabio Photography enough for sharing these utterly beautiful photos with us.

We went to Paris for my 30th birthday and Alex surprised me next to the river overlooking the Eiffel Tower at midnight.

A hint of autumn with classy delicate vibes throughout.
From start to finish it was everything we had dreamed and planned. The morning of the wedding was so chilled! Watching everyone arrive from the honeymoon suite where I got ready. (Sneak peeking) the ceremony was out of the world, so sunny and it felt so magical!
The photographer Fabio was amazing and made us feel so at ease we had such a laugh doing the photos! And he made sure we were only away from the wedding in small chunks as we didn’t want to miss a thing!
We had singing waiters who were amazing and had the whole crowd going we even had a conga going! The night reception was fantastic the dance floor was packed from the get-go until the clock was striking 12!

Hodsock Priory in a quaint village called Blyth. It was a classic venue, exclusive and had the most gorgeous gardens and a beautiful archway over a bridge to enter. It was like a fairytale venue.

Our aisle song is a piece from the Twilight movie (not meant to be cliche) it’s just we loved the words. We met after a couple of turbulent previous relationships and the words meant the world to us.
Our registrar signing was the song that just didn’t make the cut for the first dance and our end-of-ceremony song was one of Alex’s favourite songs!

Decorations were a mix between Nuptia Styling and my cousin who had her own printing business (Char Lou Creative). The cake was made by Baked By Beth, the flowers were from a florist called Bloomin Luvly! And some other bits I got myself from Etsy!

My dress was from Ava Rose Hamilton, it was style 1510 from the Martina Liana collection. I’d spotted it on their Instagram and knew it was the one from the get-go, along with a blazing star cathedral veil from Rainbow Club. My dad treated me to my wedding jewellery from Swarovski .
Alex and the groomsmen’s suits were from Skopes! We’d tried 3 suits on that ended up discontinued before we finally settled on theirs!

Yet TBC – we have a little one and we’re still deciding where to go but we spent a beautiful few nights the week after the wedding at The Lakes Hotel & Spa in Bowness-on-Windermere.

The singing waiters! Waiting to walk down the aisle! The smoke bomb moment!! Fabio knows all about this haha .

Just enjoy it, stay calm, everything works out exactly as it should, be present and spend as much time together on the day as you can, people will come and talk to you, rather than you losing time together speaking to guests!
And have a bloody good party at the end of it!

Does it get any more stunning? Oh my!
Alex and Jess, thank you ever so much for sharing with us your super magical autumn wedding story.
