Welcome to the beautiful elopement of Carolyn and Michelle which was held in the gorgeous North Cascades National Park. Surrounded by the mountains, the couple had a heartfelt ceremony with their loved ones before setting off on a private hike to exchange their vows in a secluded location.
A picturesque outdoor picnic table was adorned with peach and terracotta flowers, a darling runner and elegant tableware, which set the scene for a dreamy dinner under the sky.
Dressed in exquisite attire and carrying flowers in their rucksacks, Carolyn and Michelle radiated love and joy as they descended the mountains carrying lanterns to light their way. Their day really was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation and intimacy, resulting in a true reflection of their relationship.
You won’t want to miss the emotional first look and the spectacular scenery. Thanks ever so much to The Foxes Photography for sharing with us these incredible captures.

Michelle and I actually proposed to each other! Neither of us knew the other was planning it.
We were hiking in Grand Teton National Park at Delta Lake, and I was looking at the lake, and when I turned around, Michelle had my ring out, and I pulled their ring out of my pocket too! It was so sweet and unexpected.

We both wanted a small, intimate elopement style wedding in the mountains with just our closest friends, with good food and beautiful, wild scenery. And that is exactly what we got.

We ended up spending about $15K on our elopement.

We booked a couple of cabins in Glacier, Washington, USA, and got ready there and had a picnic before driving up to Mount Baker for the wedding.

Michelle’s suit is from Bindle and Keep (a Brooklyn-based tailor that caters to trans and non binary people’s body types and styles). My dress was Willowby by Watters and was very ethereal and comfy.

We had a lot of oranges and peach and terracotta colors, very earthy and soft.

We had our ceremony in front of our friends and then went and read our vows to each other privately in the mountains on our hike.
Our music was really laid back and a lot of acoustic covers. Our song was “Simply the Best” from the TV show Schitt’s Creek 🙂

We went to Banff National Park in Canada to hike!

Our favorite part of the day was reading our vows to each other, and exploring a beautiful area together.

Having a small wedding and not doing anything traditional was so amazing, we’re so glad we did it the way we did.

So stunning!
Thanks ever so much to Carolyn and Michelle for sharing with us their epic North Cascades National Park elopement.
